In my place this wild plant is called setapuh, one type of wild plant that is often found in various tropical areas, including Indonesia. This plant usually thrives in open areas, such as roadsides, gardens, or former forest areas. Although considered wild, setapuh has various benefits that are rarely known, but I took this photo of the setapuh plant on the edge of my yard fence.
According to the elders in my place, setapuh is a herbaceous plant. Its leaves are oval with finely serrated edges. Setapuh flowers are green with dark red seeds, often appearing along the stem. This plant can grow in various types of soil, including rocky and arid soil. In my place, finely ground setapuh leaves are often used as a wound medicine to speed up healing.
