My Little Dog [ENG|ESP]

That little being of light you see in the photo is my little dog; her name is Kristal (the name comes from a famous Cuban beer brand called Cristal).

Although that is her name, I don’t really call her that; I got used to calling her “chichi,” and she pays more attention when I call her that instead of her original name.

Sometimes I think that when she was born, she must have gotten a bump on the head—just look at that crazy little face she has! Every now and then she has these bouts of madness, runs all over the house, and looks at you with that beautiful little face of hers.

One of the funniest things she does is that whenever she notices that no one is paying attention to her, she flips over onto the floor, face down, and she won’t get up until someone has paid attention to her for at least five minutes—it’s become a reflex. All it takes is to walk by without looking at her for her to stay in that position.

Una de las cosas más graciosas que hace, es que siempre que ve que no le prestan atención, se vira boca abajo en el piso y hasta que no la atiendas por al menos 5 minutos, no sale de esa posición, es algo que tiene ya automatizado. Basta con pasarle por el lado y no mirarla para que quede en esa posición.

A few months ago, she was very sick, but she has since recovered and is as crazy as ever. This is a picture of me with her on a day when we were leaving the vet.

Hace unos meses estuvo muy enfermita pero ya se recuperó y se encuentra igual de loquita que siempre. Esta es una foto mia con ella un día que salíamos del veterinario.
