Stroll through Havana / Paseo por La Habana (en/es)

Hello friends of hive. Today's trip is to Havana, Cuba, the wonder city. It is a wonderful city bathed by the sea. It has a marked contrast between its ancient buildings and modern ones, because time does not stand still. Its historic center is categorized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. A group of friends undertook a trip from Pinar del Rio to there over 140 kilometers to enjoy a nice walk. We got up early in the morning and took a bus with 8 friends in search of adventure. Later others would join us. The comfortable trip served to rest from the early morning.

Hola amigos de hive. Hoy el paseo es a La Habana, Cuba, la ciudad maravilla. Es una ciudad maravillosa bañada por el mar. Tiene un marcado contraste por sus edificios vetustos y los otros modernos, porque el tiempo no se detiene. Su casco histórico está categorizado por la UNESCO como Patrimonio de la Humanidad. Luego en el carro recorrimos las calles habaneras para llegar a la Galería Gorría, lugar del reconocido actor cubano y además pintor, protagonista de las películas: Lista de espera, Fresa y Chocolate, Guantanamera y muchas otras atractivas propuestas cinematográficas que les invito a disfrutar. En el paseo obtuvimos imágenes de la Plaza de la Revolución, El Capitolio Nacional, el Hotel Saratoga, tristemente colapsado por la explosión de gas en sus cocinas. También vimos de pasada la casa natal del Apóstol José Martí. La Habana tiene tantas maravillas que difícilmente se puedan ver en un solo día y más cuando el propósito es asistir a alguna reunión.
