Warm greetings dear friends of hive. Today I had a spectacular ride. In Pinar del Rio, Cuba there is a wonderful place that few people know about. At the edge of the road near the Provincial Hospital Leon Cuervo Rubio is the Park of the sculptures. This park recalls important places of the world, especially Ancient Greece and also Paris and some of Spain. So it is a multicultural place. I will explain in more detail the reason for my statement.

The sculpture park is called Fideas after the ancient Greek sculptor. It was born in an empty space that used to be a dump full of water and garbage that affected the environment. There are several sculptures that we find here. Sculptures of animals, busts of philosophers, of women. The materials are different: marble, clay, bronze, reinforced concrete, iron. Thus we can find a piano, a peacock, lions, deer, among others.

From Paris we can say that they have a reproduction of the Eiffel Tower, it is on a smaller scale, of course with only 25 meters high, but very nice. From up there you can have a panoramic view of the park. Its base ends in a slide for children to slide and play.

In that area there are also small medieval castles but surrounded by devices such as swings, Ferris wheels or Ferris wheels, for children as it is a small playground.

It is a wonderful place to walk and play. This time I came with my family to a wedding. A very comfortable place to perform wedding ceremonies and to enjoy.
