“Artesanías Ailet”. Emprendimiento Familiar (ES/EN)

Hola amigos de Hive, mis mayores deseos que se encuentren bien. Hoy le escribo este post para compartir con ustedes un nuevo proyecto familiar en el cual nos estamos aventurando.
Mis padres son maestros, ya hoy jubilados, mi hermana es psicóloga y yo, aunque me gradué de Licenciada en Estudios Socioculturales, seguí los pasos de mis padres y me dediqué a la docencia. No les miento si les digo que en más de una ocasión pensamos en algún tipo de negocio sencillo que contribuyera con la economía familiar, pero nada resultó. Hasta que hace unos meses mi hermana, la más aventurera y arriesgada de la familia, después de ver unos videos por YouTube nos presentó una idea como proyecto de Emprendimiento Familiar. ¡Aquí comienza todo!

Hello Hive friends, my best wishes that you are well. Today I am writing this post to share with you a new family project in which we are venturing.
My parents are teachers, now retired, my sister is a psychologist and I, although I graduated with a degree in Sociocultural Studies, followed in my parents' footsteps and went into teaching. I am not lying if I tell you that on more than one occasion we thought about some kind of simple business that would contribute to the family economy, but nothing worked out. Until a few months ago my sister, the most adventurous and risky of the family, after watching some videos on YouTube, presented us with an idea as a Family Entrepreneurship project. Here it all begins!

¿Y esta vez qué se le ocurriría a mi hermana? Pues nada más y nada menos que hacer manualidades con Porcelana fría, también conocida por porcelanicróm o pasta flexible. Primero hicimos un estudio de las posibilidades reales de emprender con esta actividad, qué se necesitaba, dónde conseguir los materiales, un pequeño estudio de mercado y muy importante cuál era nuestro capital para iniciar. Se escribe fácil, la verdad, pero son decisiones que no se toman tan a la ligera. Una vez analizados los pros y los contras dijimos: Sí ¿qué puede ser que no sea? Como siempre unimos fuerzas y nos concentramos en la tarea.

First we made a study of the real possibilities of undertaking this activity, what was needed, where to get the materials, a small market study and very important what was our capital to start. It is easy to write, to be honest, but these are decisions that are not taken so lightly. Once we had analyzed the pros and cons we said: Yes, what could it be that it is not? As always we joined forces and concentrated on the task.

Nos comunicamos con personas que trabajan este tipo de material, compramos utensilios, materias primas, vimos más de una decena de tutoriales por YouTube, mi hermana se matriculó en un curso online (pago) el cual le aportó mucho conocimiento sobre el tema y una vez que nos sentimos preparados comenzamos nuestra primera “obra” un Duende del Bosque.
La creación del duende era la tarea final del curso online que les comentaba antes, para esta primera obra no contamos con la porcelana fría original por lo que tuvimos que utilizar porcelana casera o criolla, a la cual llamamos por los materiales que se necesitan para su elaboración y textura final “masa”. El duende se hace por partes, el cuerpo, la cabeza, las manos, el sombrero, los accesorios. Nos costó un poco de trabajo, pero lo logramos, somos conscientes de que hay que perfeccionar muchas cosas, pero feliz con el resultado final.

We communicated with people who work with this type of material, we bought utensils, raw materials, we watched more than a dozen tutorials on YouTube, my sister enrolled in an online course (paid) which gave her a lot of knowledge on the subject and once we felt prepared we began our first "work" a Forest Goblin.
The creation of the elf was the final task of the online course that I mentioned before, for this first work we did not have the original cold porcelain so we had to use homemade porcelain or Creole, which we call by the materials needed for its preparation and final texture "dough". The elf is made in parts, the body, the head, the hands, the hat, the accessories. It took us some work, but we did it, we are aware that we have to perfect many things, but we are happy with the final result.

El trabajo con porcelana fría es muy bonito y da muchas posibilidades para crear infinidad de objetos. Pensamos en crear adornos para baños y cocinas, bisutería, llaveros y muchas otras ideas que ojalá podamos materializar.
Otro elemento importante es el nombre con el cual comercializaremos nuestros artículos, por ahora pensamos en “Artesanías Ailet”, en este nombre está la esencia del negocio, la parte artesanal y nuestro motor impulsor mi hija Ainoha y mi sobrino Kalet fusionados en el nombre “Ailet”. En la medida que avancemos le seguiré comentando, por ahora todos nuestros sentidos y muy positivos en el desarrollo de nuestro Emprendimiento Familiar, donde el sueño familiar se funde en la creación.

Working with cold porcelain is very beautiful and gives many possibilities to create countless objects. We are thinking of creating ornaments for bathrooms and kitchens, jewelry, key chains and many other ideas that we hope we can materialize.
Another important element is the name under which we will market our items, for now we think of "Artesanías Ailet", in this name is the essence of the business, the handmade part and our driving force my daughter Ainoha and my nephew Kalet merged in the name "Ailet". As we move forward I will continue to comment, for now all our senses and very positive in the development of our family business, where the family dream merges into the creation.
