I just got through a (mercifully) well-attended poetry reading where I was invited to read from my latest book, Desert Songs:

One of the poets, Chase, did not show up & since were were only 3 invited poets, that meant the other poet & I got to split her time.

The entire event lasted an hour and a half & featured an open mic 🎤 Happy to report that my work was well-received 😇
