Below, are snapshots from St Augustine, the oldest city in the USA — I, heartily, recommend: it’s closest the America gets to old world & feels like Europe, in places.

The fort there reminds me of Puerto Rico, even a little bit of Cartagena, Colombia. Spanish influence…

Didn’t make it to see gators, short trip, but what we’ve seen justifies the 4 hour drive.
