Travelling through Malta - Euro Trip part 1
| Fam, Malta is insanely beautiful — it looks like a Game of Thrones set, but with crystal-clear beaches bathing in the Mediterranean Sea. |
|---|
| I had the pleasure of exploring it with amazing people. |
|---|
| Malta is an island just south of Italy, though it’s part of the Commonwealth and has strong British influence. |
|---|
While exploring its iconic beaches — many of which have been used as movie sets — I was also hunting for skate spots.
On the first day, everyone in the house had plans, so I decided to go explore the island on my own.
After doing some research, I realized there’s barely any skateboarding content coming out of Malta, which makes this post pretty special. I did find one cool video filmed on a natural rock formation in Gozo Island, but not much from the city itself.
Valetta
Found those steps in the entrance of Valletta a classic turisc bohemian spot
| Right after the manual pad struggle (it was very sunny and hot) I found this amazing sculpture of Jean de Valetta. | ![]() |

it did not took long before people came to complain, but this time this teenager girl tried to kick me out, I just kept skating but his father or uncle started calling the cops that were a few meters away. So I fled, but I got back there at night.
Eventually another citizen came asking me to stop. I did several ollies cause they felt good by the statue sword was scary, every try I thought I would hit the sword.
| After the kick out I went to the museum of creativity next to it, it was closed so I could only check the entrance | ![]() |

Mdina
Mdina, also known as “The Silent City,” felt like stepping straight into a movie — literally, since parts of Game of Thrones were filmed there. The narrow stone streets, golden walls, and quiet atmosphere make it one of the most cinematic places I’ve ever skated through. Perched on a hill overlooking Malta, the city is surrounded by massive medieval walls that glow under the afternoon sun. You feel the depth of history with each turn — from coats of arms on knights carved into doorways to the echo of footsteps on limestone. Skating there was like a dream; every push a glide across a Game of Thrones setting
Malta is an island so lets go back to water a little bit
St Peters Pool
Thats the jumping spot, the water is very salty so its weird when you go very deep from the jump but its also very easy to float. There was a lot of cigaret butts in the stones which was a little sad.
Siggiewi
Another incredible work from the aliens that shaped earth. The water was so clear I could see many fish.
There are a couple of restaurants next to this one, we stopped by a very good one
we had late lunch so when we finish was about to be sunset time, so we streched a little bit more for it. I saw this nice couple next to use and screamed to then to kiss a little bit to the right and I got this picture from then. I airdropped then and they were greatful for that
It was a very beautiful trip, with very good gastronomy, not much skateboarding, I did skate the skatepark, but was very sunny and lonely to record anything hehehe. There are indeed some spots, some ledges and gaps in the city and that one skatepark, but not much and I did not see any other skater when I was there. Which make those skate registries kind of rare in the internet. I am glad to bring some malta skateboarding to hive
After Malta, we head to Amsterdam, but I tell you about it in the next post :)

I love how you captured both the cinematic landscapes and the skateboarding vibes
Nice Malta report, if I ever go there, won't bring my board though:))))))))
Haven’t been to Malta but I feel you. That’s how I felt when I visited Dubrovnik. Part of game of thrones was filmed there and you could feel the vibes of the medieval old city!
The fast motion video was epic🔥🔥🔥 and clips were solid too. I’d skate that manny pad all day!
Really curious about the Amsterdam adventure haha
