#Monomad Challenge - The same route / O mesmo caminho [Eng-Pt]
Good afternoon, #Monomad friends
Here is my entry for the #monomad contest by @brumest and @monochromes.
There is something invariably magical about trains. Anyone who is passionate about this mode of transport knows exactly what I mean. From the oldest trains, powered by diesel locomotives or electricity.
I have never had the opportunity to ride on a very high-speed train, such as the TGV, only high-speed trains like the one we have in Portugal, called the Alfa Pendular. It only reaches speeds of around 220 km/h, which is not very spectacular, but I hope that this will be improved in a few years.
Another very interesting train that runs in the Lisbon region is the one that connects the banks of the Tagus River. It has double-decker carriages, which allows more passengers to make the crossing in the comfort of a seated position.
Anyone who knows me knows that I even love regional trains. I like the way they move... Precisely, some even swaying, or even more uncomfortable, but always following the same route. They all go from one point to another... And it is this predictability that makes this means of transport so magical.
A route that repeats itself... trip after trip, day after day, week after week. Everything stays the same. Everything except everyone...
Há algo invariavelmente mágico nos comboios. Quem tem uma paixão por este meio de transporte sabe bem do que eu falo. Desde os mais antigos, que movidos por meio de locomotivas a diesel, ou a electricidade.
Nunca tive a oportunidade de andar num comboio de muito alta velocidade, tipo TGV, apenas de alta velocidade como temos em Portugal, denominado de Alfa Pendular. Atinge apenas velocidades na ordem dos 220 km/h, que não é muito espetacular, mas dentro de alguns anos, espero que seja melhorada.
Um outro comboio bem interessante que circula na região de Lisboa é o que faz a ligação entre as margens do Rio Tejo. Tem carruagem de dois andares, o que permite que mais passageiros façam a travessia com o conforto de viajarem sentados.
Quem me conhece sabe que até os comboios regionais me apaixonam. Gosto da maneira como se deslocam... De uma forma precisa, alguns até bamboleantes, ou mesmo mais desconfortáveis, mas sempre com o mesmo caminho. Todos eles vêm de um ponto para outro... E é essa a previsibilidade que torna este meio de transporte tão mágico.
Um caminho que se repete... viagem após viagem, dia após dia, semana após semana. Tudo permanece igual. Tudo menos todos...
