Here is my entry for the #monomad contest by @brumest and @monochromes.

Nature is a true source of inspiration.
Have you ever noticed how many different shapes this simple palm tree has?

One type of photography I enjoy is looking at something that’s very familiar to us and trying to observe its details more closely.

During a vacation I took to a tropical destination, where there were some palm trees along the water’s edge, I came across one by the side of the path that caught my attention. The thorns on the stems of the leaves that had already been removed—or had fallen off—were striking. The detail, the intricacy, the perfection with which Nature presents itself to us.
