#Monomad Challenge - March 22, Water World Day
Good afternoon, #Monomad friends
Here is my entry for the #monomad contest by @brumest and @monochromes.

Where water flows, equality grows. (link)
Fortunately, I have access to drinking water. My respect for this resource leads me to use it wisely. I’ve gathered some photos of places I’ve visited and edited them to share here with this community, in celebration of today.
An essential good for life, an increasingly scarce resource—that much is certain. Day by day, we see that whoever controls this resource can control everything.
It is very interesting to see that in a world that should be striving to establish greater balance, we end up creating wider gaps between those who have access to drinking water and those who do not.
One in four people in the world still does not have access to drinking water in their homes. It is striking that 2 billion people still lack something so fundamental to health and prosperity.
In places where the human rights to access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation are concerned, we see that inequalities persist and are growing.... Women and girls are the group that suffers the most in these regions. There is still a long way to go... the time has come for women and girls to be part of the solution, to be at the center of solutions related to access to water.
Climate change should not alter people’s access to water and water supply services. A multidisciplinary approach must be adopted, one in which women’s leadership and autonomy are recognized, and governments work for the well-being of their populations. Investing in women’s leadership leads to the advancement of gender equality, from which everyone benefits.
I hope you enjoyed my post here in the B&W community
