#Monomad Challenge - A different look. How to create something from what we already have [En-Pt]

Good evening , #Monomad friends

Trying to find something new is always an almost common goal for many people... And trying to find something new in something that isn't exactly new?
Well, that's the challenge I set myself today. From a set of photographs that I had taken near the National Palace of Mafra last year (source), I looked for the shots that I thought, when edited, with filters, a different framing and a little depth effect and a darkened halo, could take on a different life. I also set out to try and eliminate any element that wouldn't give it authenticity, or that would clash with the imposing architecture and would be completely out of place. So in the framing I chose, I tried to eliminate any elements that might “date” the photograph in some way, making it more difficult to date, or at least not so directly.

What do you think of the final result? Do you think I achieved my goal?

First of all, I'd like to apologize for my absence, both in following your posts and in participating and commenting on your fantastic photos and posts, but I've had a crazy week at work.

Let's hope the weekend brings some peace of mind, and with it some extra time for myself, and to do the things I enjoy most, and not the things I'm professionally obliged to do.

Tentar encontrar algo de novo é sempre um objectivo quase comum a bastantes pessoas... E tentar encontrar algo de novo em algo que já não é propriamente novo?
Pois bem, esse foi o desafio que eu me propus hoje aqui trazer. De um conjunto de fotografias que eu tinha feito perto do Palácio Nacional de Mafra, no passado ano (fonte), procurei as fotografias que eu achava que editadas, com filtros, um diferente enquadramento e um pouco de efeito de profundidade e um halo escurecido pudessem ganhar uma vida diferente. Propus-me também a tentar eliminar qualquer elemento que não lhe conferisse autenticidade, ou que por outro lado chocaria com uma arquitectura imponente, e que destoa-se completamente. Por isso nos enquadramentos escolhidos, tentei eliminar alguns elementos que pudessem "datar" a fotografia de alguma forma, tornando a sua datação mais difícil, ou pelo menos não tão directa.

O que é que vocês acham do resultado final? Acham que consegui o objectivo a que me propus.

Antes de mais quero desde já pedir desculpa pela minha ausência, quer em acompanhar as publicações de vocês, quer mesmo a participar e comentar as fantásticas fotos e publicações, mas tenho tido uma semana de "doidos" no trabalho.

Esperemos que o fim de semana consiga trazer alguma paz de espirito, e com ela algum tempo extra para mim mesmo, e para fazer as coisas que eu mais gosto, e não as que sou profissionalmente obrigado a desempenhar.
