Looking for emotions in faces
Welcome to my 29th #monomad competition entry
Despite having little time for "myself", this weekend, as I had Saturday off, I decided to take public transport to the centre of Lisbon. I love "returning" to the freedom of not having to be "stuck" in a car or worrying about where to park it... These days, it's much simpler to just get in the car, put the key in the ignition and sleepwalk your way to your destination. I do, however, have a "hobby" that I love to do. Getting on public transport, without being obliged to arrive at a "certain time" (as happens when I have to go to work, or to an appointment), I like to spend those few minutes on the platform, already on the train line, and let myself be carried away by the faces and manners of those who are there or who are staying... One taste I have, but which doesn't make me very comfortable, is everyday photography. The unique facial expressions of each one of us, that moment when we smile, or let ourselves be carried away by a thought... it's simply magical to let that moment be eternalised through a photographic record. Today I want to share part of my walk this weekend, and in particular a street in Lisbon. Rua da Misericórdia - an emblematic street that runs from the Church of São Roque, through Largo Camões and across one of the most visited parts of Lisbon's uptown area.
I hope you enjoy what I consider to be the delicious details of this little set of records. From the sticker of a political movement that these days still manages to ensure that its ideas have some traction with reality... To the faces of the people strolling around in the warm light of one of the last days of the late "summer" we'll have this year.

Awesome clicks! Lisboa is a such a great setting for monomad photos, right? ;)
IMHO the best that we can get in a short distance for sure!
Thank you for the manual curation @brumest and for all the support given by @qurator team!
All the pictures are quite beautiful, I think many people also like to visit beautiful places like that.
Thank you, mnurhiver! It is something that I very difficult for me, to capture people on photo that I don't know... complete strangers, without making them feel like that I'm being intrusive or aggressive... And since I'm very inward type of person, you can imagine the struggle that I had.
