CCC's Street Art Contest #289 - "Powerpuff Graff" - AIRAM & DISH - Linda-a-Velha, Portugal [Eng-Pt]

Good morning everyone!

Welcome to another post in the Street Art community!

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude for the distinction I received in the previous edition of the StreetArt Contest, in which I won first place. It is a true honor to finish in first place, given that there are so many fantastic works that enter this event every week.

That said, today I want to share a work that I also found in the Linda-a-Velha Community Center building.

Although I was born in the late 1970s, I continued to watch cartoons for some time. My younger brother, four years my junior, was one of the reasons, but not the main reason, as I always had a fondness for cartoons.

One of the series I loved to watch was The Powerpuff Girls! This series dates back to 1998 and features three kindergarten-aged girls named Blossom (pink), Bubbles (blue), and Buttercup (green), who had superpowers. Their father and creator, Professor Utonium, had given them these superpowers, and in this way they defended the city from other villains. To develop their superpowers, their father, a scientist, had used only three ingredients: sugar, spice, and everything nice!

I can say that I had a special preference for Buttercup and her bad temper! Ahaha Maybe because I'm similar in that respect!

His arch-nemesis, Mojo Jojo, had to appear on this canvas created by artists AIRAM and DISH!

I hope you enjoyed this post.

Hugs to everyone!

"Sugar, spice and everything nice"!

Very cool mural with this lettering and cartoon characters. I've never seen this cartoon, although the characters aren't unfamiliar to me; no little brother has given me an excuse to watch it 😀 Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.

Have a great day
