CCC's Street Art Contest #273 "True Heroes" - APURB, Amadora, Portugal [Eng-Pt]
Good evening, friends!
Welcome to another post in the Street Art community!
Another month has passed, and we hardly noticed... As we are striding forward... or almost running towards Christmas... Sooner or later, we are doing the famous countdown. But that's life. We have to enjoy it while we're here. And today is no different from any other day.
I'm enjoying a well-deserved weekend, but it could be a normal working day. We just have to look for a little peace, and in the midst of that search, try to bring a little light into our day and our minds.
As usual every week, and when the weather permits, I like to take a short walk around the neighborhood. Not necessarily the same routes, but they often end up coinciding in some way.
Two weeks ago, I was walking down a street nearby and decided to venture down another one, closer to the city center. I didn't regret it! Not at all!
I came across a low, single-story building, which is now used as a cultural and educational center. Located opposite the Artur Bual Municipal Center, this small and simple building has been painted in colors that almost elevate it to the level of a multi-story building.
Despite its small stature, the strong colors and vibrant theme convey a captivating energy. It is fitting for young people who are ready to show what they are worth and what they are prepared for.

Nowadays, society leads us to believe that we all have some potential. And that's not far from the truth. Not all of us are Superman or Spider-Man, but we all have abilities that make us unique in some way.
However, unlike superheroes, instead of dropping the masks of boring people, we don't have the courage to show our true abilities. Perhaps because we don't truly believe in ourselves. Don't you think?
And as it says on one of the walls of the house, dreaming is sometimes the best we can do. It sets us free and breaks down emotional barriers. Even if it's only when we're dreaming... It's already an escape and a real blessing to be able to see.
The real prize and consolation is not having a cat in our tummy, but having the cat love us in its own tummy!

Bem-vindos a mais uma publicação para a Comunidade Street Art!
Mais um mês passou, e mal demos conta de isso... Como estamos a passos largos a caminhar... ou quase a correr para o Natal... Mais dia menos dia, estamos a fazer a famosa contagem decrescente. Mas a vida é mesmo assim. Temos que a aproveitar enquanto cá estamos. E hoje, não é diferente de outro dia qualquer.
Estou a gozar o fim de semana mais do que merecido, mas poderia ser um dia de trabalho normalíssimo. Só temos que procurar um pouco de paz, e no meio dessa procura, tentarmos dar um pouco de luz ao nosso dia e a nossa mente.
Como é habitual todas as semanas, e quando o tempo o permite, gosto de dar uma pequena volta a pé pelas redondezas. Não necessariamente os mesmos trajectos, mas frequentemente acabam por coincidir de certa forma.
E há quinze dias tinha passado por uma rua bem perto, e decidi aventurar-me e regressar por uma outra, mais para a parte central da cidade. E não me vim a arrepender! De todo!
Eis que dei de frente com um edifício de baixa planta, apenas de um andar, que agora é usado como centro cultural e educativo. Localizado em frente ao Centro Municipal Artur Bual, este pequeno e tão singela edificação ganhou cores que a quase elevam a um nível de um prédio de vários andares.
Apesar da sua pequena estatura, as cores fortes, e o tema mais do que vibrante, transmitem uma energia bem cativante. Bem próprio de uma juventude pronta a mostrar o que vale, e para o que está preparada.

Hoje em dia, a sociedade leva a crer que todos temos alguma potencialidade. E não foge muito da realidade. Nem todos somos um super homem, ou um homem aranha, mas temos capacidades que nos configuram sempre alguma coisa de diferente.
Só que ao contrário dos Super Heróis, em vez de deixarmos cair as mascaras de um pessoa enfadonha, não temos coragem de exibir as nossas verdadeiras capacidades. Se calhar, muito embora, porque não acreditamos verdadeiramente em nós. Não acham?
E como aparece em uma das paredes da casa, sonhar, por vezes é mesmo o melhor que podemos fazer. Deixa-nos livres, derruba barreiras emocionais. Mesmo que seja apenas quando estamos a sonhar... Já é uma escapatória e uma verdadeira bênção conseguir ver.
O verdadeiro prêmio e consolação não é termos um gato na barriga, mas o gato ternos a nós na sua barriga!
