CCC's Street Art Contest #264 - "Vive, Sente, Move-te, Respira" / "Live, Feel, Move, Breathe" - TemperoDiabético - Amadora, Portugal [Eng-Pt]
Good afternoon, friends!
Welcome to another post in the Street Art community!
Today, I'm going to share some work I photographed a few days ago, during this week. I went for a walk in a residential area of Amadora, and while visiting an urban park, which I mentioned here in this post, I caught sight of a bridge, over which one of Lisbon's busiest roads passes, and noticed the colorful elements that were right there!
Of course, after my walk in the park, I went to that crossing to capture this work that I am sharing with you here.
The name of this work is “Live, Feel, Move, Breathe” and is part of a mural created by the artist temperodiabetico for mobility week, with the aim of promoting activities associated with decarbonization. Such as using public transport, bicycles, skateboards, or even walking... I can say that I am already an active contributor to this cause. Climate change is a subject that is particularly close to my heart, and I am always conscious of whether I could do something to reduce the impact of my activities on the environment.
It ends up being something that is very personal to me and brings me a lot of satisfaction, in addition to the benefits it has for my health and my wallet!
But now I'm going to talk a little about this piece. The parakeet and the robin immediately caught my attention. As I got closer, I realized the complexity of the rest of the piece. It completely covered the two walls of the passageway, with very vibrant colors. The words of the work are mirrored throughout the piece, highlighting its importance. In the center of the two interior walls, the image of the girl was the one that struck me the most, perhaps because of the energy and joy it conveys. Her bold orange glasses contrast perfectly with her hairstyle.
On the other side, another passerine was there! A golden canary. On the right side, there was a cosmos flower, or Mexican aster. I confess I didn't know this species, but then again, I'm not very knowledgeable about plants and flowers. I searched Google Images, and this was the closest match I could find. Here's the link for anyone who wants to check it out. If you happen to know what flower it is, feel free to write it in the comments.
I remember having already shared another work by this same artist here in this community, which, despite being signed with a different name, is by the same artist.
I hope you enjoyed my sharing. The walk in the park proved to be very interesting. I love it when I'm just walking and I come across places or people that are really interesting, and I inevitably want to find out more about them, or seek to find out more. It's one of the good things about not always trying to control everything we do or plan. It's good to leave some things to “chance,” don't you think?
And now, I bid you all farewell. Today is my last day of vacation, and I want to take the opportunity to either go for a walk or maybe do what is most necessary, which is tidying up the house...

Hoje, vou aqui partilhar um trabalho que eu fotografei há uns dias atrás, durante esta semana. Fui dar um passeio por uma zona residencial da Amadora, e ao visitar um parque urbano, sobre o qual falei aqui nesta publicação, vislumbrei uma ponte, sobre a qual passa uma das artérias rodoviárias mais movimentadas de Lisboa, e reparei nos elementos coloridos que estavam ali mesmo ao pé!
Claro que depois do meu passeio no parque, fui até a essa passagem para registar este trabalho que aqui partilho com vocês.
O nome desta obra é "Vive, Sente, Move-te, Respira" e faz parte de um mural elaborado pelo artista temperodiabetico para a semana de mobilidade, com intuito de promover actividades que estão associadas à descarbonização. Como a utilização de transportes públicos, utilização de bicicletas, skates ou mesmo andar a pé... Posso dizer que eu já sou um activo colaborador desta causa. As alterações climáticas são um assunto que me é particularmente caro, estando sempre na minha consciência se eu poderia fazer algo para reduzir um pouco o impacto da minha actividade sobre o ambiente.
Acaba por ser algo que me é muito pessoal, e que me trás bastante satisfação, para além do bem que me faz à saúde e à carteira!
Mas vou agora falar um pouco sobre esta peça. O periquito e o pisco-de-peito-ruivo chamaram-me logo à atenção. Ao chegar mais perto percebi a complexidade da da restante peça. Ela cobria por completo as duas paredes da passagem, e com cores bem vibrantes. As palavras da obra estão espelhadas ao longo da obra, sobressaindo a sua importância. Na parte central das duas paredes interiores, a imagem da rapariga foi a que me mais marcou, se calhar pela energia e alegria que transmite. Os seu óculos em tons alaranjados e bastante arrojados, contrastam de forma perfeita com o seu penteado.
Já no outro lado, outro passeriforme estava lá! Um canário-dourado. Do lado direito aparecia uma flor de cosmos, ou Aster Mexicano aparece. Não conhecia esta espécie, confesso, mas também não sou um grande conhecedor de plantas e flores. Fui pesquisar no google images, e foi a correspondência que mais me pareceu ser. Deixo aqui o link para quem quiser consultar. Se por acaso sabes que flor é, não hesites em o escrever nos comentários.
Lembro-me de ter já partilhado aqui nesta comunidade um outro trabalho deste mesmo artista, que apesar de ser assinado com um nome diferente, corresponde ao mesmo.
Espero que tenham gostado desta minha partilha. O passeio no parque revelou-se de grande interesse. Adoro quando estou simplesmente a andar a pé, e encontro locais, ou pessoas super interessantes, e sobre as quais fico necessariamente a saber mais, ou procuro saber. Das boas coisas de deixarmos de tentar controlar sempre tudo o que fazemos ou planeamos. É bom deixarmos algumas coisas para o "acaso", não acham?
E agora, despeço-me de todos vós. Hoje é o meu último dia de férias, e quero aproveitar para ou dar uma volta, ou se calhar fazer mesmo o que é mais necessário, que é arrumar a casa...
