We currently have this much amount of Robinia wood in the garden (2022.11.26)

Yesterday we have not took photos about it. Today I took some.

Maybe this is not look that much, but this is actually around 300 kg. Yesterday we brought two bags/sacks of wood into the house. And that was more than enough for the night. We still have a few woods inside the house. The wood outside is wet, because there was a rain.

This wood burn very well. It gives good heat, and the heater keep the heat very well. Of course today we will bring more wood inside, and we will wait, until they become dry.

We will see for how long this wood will be enough. Nowadays we heat mostly in the evening/night, when the outside temperature is a around -1 °C and -3 °C. The daylight temperature is much warmer. Currently (around midday/noon) it is 7 °C.

Currently the weather is cloudy and foggy, but according to the weather forecast, there will be sunny periods too. We will see.

There is still no snow.

Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

We do not know yet. This depends on the outside temperature too. Nowadays we mostly heat in the evening/night. This kind of wood slowly burns, and gives a good heat, so probably it will be enough at least for a few weeks.

Little stove installed to warm you during winter, ensuring warmth during winter is a priority where you live.

Hope the wood is slow burning, lasting a couple of weeks, once you know your usage you will be able to order as required or stockpile some in a dry corner.

Our current heater is cast iron. It keeps the heat very well. Probably we will not need a lot of wood to keep the room warm, but we will see.

Enjoy, you will need the warmth, relying on wood not a bad option with lack of power getting through to most of Europe.

It's good when the house is warm.

Only our room. There is no door to the other room, and it is cold. Hopefully this will not damage the structure of the house more.

Do you have a wood burning stove? They are such good conductors of heat!

Yes. Currently we have a cast iron wood/coal heater. There is a wood/coal switch on its backside. It was installed on and working since 2022.11.21. We used it only with wood so far, so we have not tried it with coal so far.
