#WednesdayWalk by @tattoodjay.

With one of my friends today I visited the ocean shore for the first time, near El Médáno, South Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.

The water felt a little bit cold, but it was pleasant.

I have not went into it very deeply.

Only to the knee.

I felt the power of the waves.

I also washed my clothes in the ocean.

I saw fish in the water.

I have not went closer to the ocean with my smartphone, because it is not waterproof. I sat down in the ocean (near the shore), and I bathed in it.

Before going to the ocean shore, we visited the cave-shrine of Santo Hermano Pedro too.

On the way back from the ocean shore to the cave. My friend is on the right side of the photo.

The sky in front of the cave in the evening (at 20:13 WEST).

By the way, today morning I ate a baguette and a Camembert Destrier for breakfast, and I tried a new high protein cranberry Skyr yoghurt for the first time. I have not tried it so far.

And I tried a Griego yoghurt too. Also for the first time. This yoghurt is similar to the Hungarian Danone yoghurt. Except that there were chocolate pieces in the Griego yoghurt. Both are delicious/tasty.

Thank you for coming with us on our Wednesday Walk.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.

Your first time to dip your toes in the sea! So many firsts for you. It is so great that you are having all these new experiences.
I hope you rinsed your clothes with fresh water. A salt water wash may make them uncomfortable to wear.

I (and other people too) simply let them dry. Multiple community members are regularly washing their clothes in the ocean without any problem. They say that the salt is sterilizing.

Washing clothes in the ocean is one of the things African people do...
It is part of our culture

Good to know. Probably I also make it as one of my habits. My current plan is to stay on Tenerife for long term. Hopefully I will get used to the high summer temperatures too. The people say that it can be around 50 °C in/around August.

The ocean feels a little bit cold, but it is pleasant. At least for me at this time of the year at the ocean shore on South Tenerife. Other dates and other places may be different. And it may be different for the individuals too. I gladly recommend visiting South Tenerife and the ocean shore in April and in May.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.
