My first airplane flight, my first day on Tenerife (2023.04.22)
Yesterday (on 2023.04.21) afternoon I arrived on Tenerife. My first airplane flight went well. I even slept on the plane during the flight. The takeoff and the landing was a little bit like a rollercoaster, the flight was rather like a train. It was a pleasant flight.
I flied with a friend. Yesterday we traveled with a bus from the airport of South Tenerife to San Isidro, then we walked approximately two km to the community.
Somehow my Hungarian Yettel mobile internet subscription is not working (theoretically it should work). Looks like I use either public Wi-Fi, or the Wi-Fi of my friends for now. Currently I use my Vodafone SIM card. I mainly use this SIM card for phonecalls. I have a monthly 100 MB data on this SIM card. Probably soon I will have a Digi SIM card for mobile internet. Maybe I will activate additional mobile data on this Vodafone SIM card.
In San Isidro yesterday (on 2023.04.21).
Today (on 2023.04.22) morning near San Isidro.

I agree. I saw only the small part of the southern part of the island in the previous two days. People say that the northern part is much greener. And that the Teide mountain is around the middle of the island, and that the temperature is colder there (I saw only on photos so far that there are even snowfalls on/around the Teide mountain in the winter). And I heard that the people on the shore are still sunbathing, and swimming in the ocean. So it is always warm around the shore.
Yes the Northern part is much less touristy and more beautiful, hehe yes you do get snow on Mount Teide in the winter time.
It has a wonderful all round climate, you will love it.
I just caught up on your last few weeks. Happy to hear you made it to Tenerife, the Canary islands are really nice.
