My brother's first Barraquito (2025.02.27)
Barraquito is a coffee liqueur from Tenerife.
I drank it for the first time somewhen in 2023.
Today my brother tried it for the first time.
In the same place (in the T-Gas Bar Restaurante) as me two years ago.
Similarly to me, he also likes it.
Two years ago and one year ago, the price of one glass of Barraquito was €1.50 Euro.
Today it was €1.90 Euro.
It is still worth it.
As I currently know, this place still offers one of the most affordable Barraquitos.
I remember at least one place even from two years ago, where they sold one glass of Barraquito for €2 Euro.
So I still gladly recommend this place to anyone, who visit Tenerife (maybe it is served in other places too).
By the way, there is "El Médano" in the name of the bar/restaurant, but actually it is more close to San Isidro than to El Médano.

There are many foods and drinks, which neither of us tried so far, and we together will visit new places too on Tenerife in the near future.
This drink sounds good. That would probably cost around $6-$8 in the US.

Similar drinks probably would cost similar to that price in my country (in Hungary) too.
Many things became much more expensive there too in the recent few years.
And the Value Added Tax (VAT) in Hungary is also the highest (27%) in the European Union (EU).
Tenerife is generally more affordable than Hungary, and the living generally is also easier (for example you do not have to heat in the winter).

Traditionally they put liquor and lemon into it. But of course you can order it without liquor too. Cheers.

Probably the Barraquito is available in that bar too. If you visit Tenerife, then I gladly recommend to try it at least once. It has multiple variations, and you can order it without liquor too. Cheers.
