A few good night photos from us (2022.10.12)

Just a short update.

We completely got used to sleep in the new house. The doors and the fire (wood) heater are still not installed, but we are good. The nights are not that cold yet, and the pullover and the blanket is warm enough. I have not tried it so far, but sleeping in a tent in the nature is probably a similar experience to this.

And my Harris's hawk is also warming me. She is sleeping with me on my neck. She puts her head/beak on my head/mouth. Or under my head/mouth to my neck. Usually we sleep like this.

Sometimes she moves her head to the opposite direction. Just like me.

And sometimes she put it forward. Also just like me. Okay, maybe not on this photo. I have not moved my head on this photo.

Theoretically both the doors and the fireplace will be installed in the weekend. It was promised on the previous weekend too, but the owner of the house is very busy.

Either way, we are good. Both my Harris's hawk and me too. And my brother too, but he sleep in the other house since the previous few weeks, so this is why I have not took a photo about him today.

I took every photo in this post with my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy A12) with the flash. I have not edited these photos.

She is calm and peaceful most of the time. She still fear from strangers, because she rarely see other people.

Not at all. She screams only when she see strangers or other animals, for example cats and dogs. But she would get used to see them too over time, if she would regularly see them. Nowadays she rarely see them. She is mostly with me alone in the house and in the garden.

They have not installed it yet. Hopefully they will do it in the near future. Otherwise we are fine. The evening temperatures are not that cold yet (around 4 °C and 9 °C).

Wow!!! she is not afraid of anything! I'm shocked!!!! I have never seen anything like it!!!! I really hope that everything you need will be done in the near future and you won’t freeze (after all, it’s already pretty cool)

Actually she still scream at strangers. Both humans and animals. But she will get used to them soon. She very rarely saw other people and other animals so far. This is why she still fear them.
