Hoi An - Memories of me and Hoi An ancient town

Hi everyone. how is your day today? how is the weather in your place? it's Fall, right? For me, the Fall is the most beautiful session of the year. However, at the end of autumn, it will also be the season of scattered rains and storms in Vietnam's central provinces.
Today, seeing pictures of Hoi An being flooded by flood water reminds me of the peaceful and beautiful days I spent here. Hoi An experiences floods like this every year during the rainy season. However, it has not lost any of its unique beauty as a result of this.

My old story
Have you ever faced a slew of life challenges all at once? I had already met. Everything seems to be working against me: heartbreak, unemployment, appearance. It was a huge challenge to overcome for a young girl who was only 24 years old at the time.
But..... luckily, I have a best friend who helps me out of this situation. She rode the motorbike for more than 100 kilometers from Hue to Da Nang just to make me feel good.
She took me to Hoi An ancient town, which is my favorite place. Because it's peaceful and quiet; there's no more traffic noise or hustle and bustle. There is only peace, laughter, talking, and the "lengkeng" of bicycles here. To be here, I was like slow down life. All stress or sadness in life seems to be gone.

Enjoy the life of Hoi An ancient town

When you visit Hoi An ancient town, you will undoubtedly be impressed by the yellow-walled houses and red bougainvillea, or the lanterns full of color. We rented a bicycle to ride around the ancient town, you also could walk to admire the ancient town slowly.

We rode through the ancient town's roads, admiring the old houses, lanterns, people walking around, and the atmosphere. The weather at the time was sunny but not hot.

I've been here several times, and each time I want to eat the Phuong bread because it's delicious. And, once again, I chose Phuong bread to satisfy my hungry stomach.

Mot is a popular beverage in Hoi An, to be honest, it isn't particularly tasty, but we bought it for the photos.

When it started to get dark, the lanterns were lit up, and tourists also began to come more and more.

That day, there was a sudden rain, which came quickly and also passed quickly, as if washing away all the dirt and restoring the ancient town's bright beauty, and even the dirt in my heart was washed away. The air in the ancient town is so fresh after the rain that it feels great.

Boating and dropping flower garlands and colored lanterns on the Hoai River is an exciting nighttime activity in Hoi An that should not be missed.

From the boat, you can see the scenery on both sides of the river when it is lit up, as well as the boats decorated with colorful lanterns that light up the entire river, that scene was fantastic. When I sat on the boat and dropped flower garlands and colored lanterns, I felt like the sadness in my heart was swept away with it.

And Hoi An and my friend consoled me like that. For me, It is not only beautiful, but it is also healing.
