The beach is called Caleta de Famara and the mountain, El Risco de Famara. The place is in the north of the Canary Island of Lanzarote and due to its winds it is a real paradise for surfers. From here you can see in the background the eighth inhabited island of the archipelago, the island of La Graciosa, which is home to 500 souls now mainly dedicated to tourism, although not long ago the population used to depend on fishing for their livelihood.

La playa se llama Caleta de Famara y la montaña, El Risco de Famara. El lugar está al norte de la isla canaria de Lanzarote y debido a sus vientos es un auténtico paraíso para los surfistas. Desde aquí se puede ver al fondo la octava isla habitada del archipiélago, la isla de La Graciosa, en la que viven 500 almas ahora dedicadas principalmente al turismo, aunque hasta hace poco la población subsistía por la pesca.
