Thank you!
It must require a lot of stamina
It requires stamina if you aren't 20 years old anymore (1) and have limited time for the hike (2). I had both points.
courage
Going to an area you completely don't know and where Google.Maps has quite limited power means to leave the comfort zone, for sure. That's the good side of being a traveler regularly - keeping yourself morally Spartan.
I believe that's the old school thing we should keep in culture - any. Like, many young Germans, despite being from a rich country, have at least one long-term "challenge-focused" travel on a low budget. That's a great tradition and experience, even if you are going to become a top manager afterward.
Is there any other way to go there, without a lot of walking?
That's a very good question. There is a cable car to reach the very top, lol.
And I will travel this way one day to reach the viewpoint on the very top super early in the morning - for the mountain panorama.
However, hiking to the top is a way to enjoy the road itself and a way to prove yourself, "I can do it".
Happy to have this green area as climbing to the lake panorama area takes only 45 minutes (though the way is quite vertical, lol) and there are roads down to the lake I will love to explore.
I liked that "German "challenge-focused" travel on a low budget", I didn't know this.
I would love to see the photos and to read the details of both of your these endeavours - Mountain Panorama and down to the lake.
