600-Meter-Long Dragon Spares Nobody in Da Nang, Vietnam. Look How People React to This
It was 9:01 pm, hundreds of people crowded at the Dragon Bridge and around it.
Everybody was waiting for what would happen next, with mobile cameras ready to shoot... Ok, not everybody:
This little traveler preferred resting her head at her mom's shoulder. 🙂 But the rest people were watching the dragon and...
...and, then, boom!
The flame was awesome but it was a greater surprise to smell the dragon's kerosene breath and feel that much heat on the face that I couldn't help thinking if my brows were quite safe.
After two sessions of spewing fire, the dragon seemed to calm down and people started leaving the bridge, probably thinking "that wasn't bad, 6 from 10, maybe even 6.5", when the voracious reptile came back to life and began pouring water on people! 😃
A lot of water! Daredevils who were standing close to the dragon were forced to flee.
Other people used umbrellas as shields.
Meanwhile, the dragon was ruthless, and didn't spare neither moms nor children. And even inflatable ducks could not count on the dragon's mercy:
Screams were heard in the crowd, people were retreating in panic (happy panic!) 😄
After that massive shower, nobody thought that the Dragon Bridge show is just 6 from 10. 😀

Love this show! I consider it the number 1 attraction of the Da Nang City. It's even not about the show itself but people's reaction; the reaction makes a new, original performance every time. 🙂 A ton of great emotions and images are guaranteed! 😀
Practical Details
You can watch the show every Saturday and Sunday at around 9 pm at the Western side of the Dragon Bridge (the location on Google Maps).
You can enjoy the spectacle from aside, away from fire and water, from a viewpoint area by the river. Or you can stand on the bridge itself. I find the latter the most amusing.
The admission is free.

Da Nang is a good place to stop. Hoian and Hue are near, the beach is nice, the city has modern part with vast avenues as well as traditional part with street without space for pedestrians :D It has not much historical, I can't say the city is super lively (like Bangkok or Saigon) but it's cozy and convenient and not that much touristy like Hoian (personally, I didn't like staying there).
(But don't forget the Dragon Bridge show is carried out on weekends only).
Now that was something totally different, must have been an amazing experience @x-rain!
