Center of Saigon Nightlife 🇻🇳 Bui Vien Street

If we were beings living in the world of the eternal light, we couldn't believe that it is even possible: full re-painting of the world.

At least, this is how the night looks in modern cities, especially, Southeast Asian ones where all sorts of street businesses like food stalls and carts appear in the evening and turn on their multicolored lights while many day-time enterprises get closed and immerse in the darkness.

Areas designed as nightlife centers change even to a greater extent.

Bui Vien Street is such an area in Saigon.

People love it, but cats don't 😁:

The woman was carrying the pet to somewhere, she was hurrying, understanding how frightening this experience was for the cat.

The worst was everybody wanted to touch that adorable beast. Guess what the cat thought about that?

It was funny but it also was painful to see horror in the cat's eyes.

But let's return to the world of humans. All sorts of places in Bui Vien Street. They have these ones with dancers like above, sports bars with large screens right in the street, and places to drink beer and listen to covers:

I spotted two such places right on Bui Vien Street, the level of performance was amazing; rather old songs, most popular hits with a significant incline to rock music.

Moreover, these rock bars aren't pushy and don't smell prostitution, and the music performance is gorgeous so... I like them.

Bui Vien Street is impressive. But there are negativity too. In the central part of it, there are several nightclubs which have a crowd of promoters.

These guys (in black T-shirts "Security") pushily invite passersby to visit their clubs so walking there isn't comfortable. Some clubs have the same uniform for their promoters which makes a bad impression, like, if all these clubs are the same. I was in Bui Vien Street in 2019 - it was better about that.

But that's only the central part of the street. You could pass the area without a problem - nobody grabbed you... Thanks for that.

There are also restaurants and cozy sit-and-sip bars with stalls and tables in the street. Many choices.

Overall, Bui Vien Street is an amazing place, an absolute must-see for visitors of Southeast Asia and Vietnam. You can just walk along it to shoot a video for social media (they're quite loyal to that) or spend several days drinking and socializing there. That's all up to you.
