Drawing my selfie [ES/EN]

Hola que tal gente hermosa de HIVE, ¿cómo están?.

Hoy Estaré haciendo un retrato de mí ;) o intentándolo jajajja, ya que lo haré en digital y hace mucho que no dibujo de esta manera y siento que tengo muchos fallos aún, pero bueno así se aprende <3.

Tomé de referencia esta selfie porque me pareció muy linda xd.

Hello beautiful people of HIVE, how are you.

Today I'll be doing a portrait of me ;) or trying to do it hahahahaha, since I'll do it in digital and it's been a long time since I've drawn this way and I feel like I still have a lot of mistakes, but well this is how you learn <3.

I took this selfie as a reference because I thought it was really cute xd.

Comencé haciendo el boceto del rostro y los hombros en tradicional ya que así se me hace muchísimo más fácil que en digital, creo que es porque estoy más acostumbrada a dibujar en tradicional que en digital, pero bueno las dos técnicas me encantan <3.

I started sketching the face and shoulders in traditional because it's much easier than in digital, I think it's because I'm more used to draw in traditional than in digital, but I love both techniques <3.

Puede que no se vea con claridad la imagen y es porque el boceto lo dibuje sin aplicar tanta presión en el lápiz ;).

Ya aquí terminé el boceto, aunque sinceramente habían cosas que no me agradaban del todo jaja y que luego se darán cuenta que las modifiqué.

You may not be able to see the image clearly because I drew the sketch without applying so much pressure on the pencil ;).

Here I finished the sketch, although honestly there were some things that I didn't like at all haha and later you will notice that I modified them.

Con el boceto en tradicional hecho ahora tenía que pasarlo a digital y la aplicación que uso para dibujar en el celular en digital es IbisPaint X , no es publicidad pero es muy buena para dibujar, más que todo mangas o animes :).

With the traditional sketch done now I had to pass it to digital and the application that I use to draw in the cell phone in digital is IbisPaint X, it is not advertising but it is very good for drawing, mostly manga or anime :).

Empecé por importar la imagen que había tomado del boceto a IbisPaint X para luego crear otra capa y empezar a delinear todo con el pincel lápiz (#2).

I started by importing the image I had taken from the sketch into IbisPaint X and then created another layer and started outlining everything with the pencil brush (#2).

Luego de delinear todo hice otra capa para empezar a hacer los ojos, los labios, etc…

After outlining everything, I did another layer to start making the eyes, lips, etc...

Aquí es donde me doy cuenta que no me gusto para nada la expresión facial porque sentía que me hacía ver masculino XD jaja pero decidí cambiarlo luego, mientras empecé a hacer una mini paleta de un lado para saber los colores bases de la piel, labios, cabello, etc.. Para empezar a pintar.

This is where I realize that I didn't like the facial expression at all because I felt it made me look masculine XD haha but I decided to change it later, as I started to make a mini palette on one side to know the base colors of the skin, lips, hair, etc.. To start painting.

Luego de pintar la piel el cabello y la ropa me dediqué a dibujar las cejas y ojos <3.

After painting the skin, hair and clothes I started drawing the eyebrows and eyes <3.

Después le cambié la boca, para luego irle dando detalles de sombra y luz.

En el fondo no tenía ni idea de qué podía hacer, así que hice 2 fondos a ver cual me gustaba más xD.

El primero no me gusto para nada JAJAJA sentía que los colores no eran lindos y que todo estaba muy "desordenado" pero eso fue un intento de hacer algo más elaborado.

Deep down I had no idea what I could do, so I made 2 backgrounds to see which one I liked the most xD.

The first one I didn't like at all HAHAHAHA I felt the colors weren't pretty and everything was too "messy" but that was an attempt to make something more elaborate.

Y el segundo sí me gusto pero no del todo así que creo que para la próxima dejaré el dibujo sin fondo xD, creo que sí tuviese que calificar el dibujo le daría un 5/10 porque se que tengo que practicar mucho más y porque siento que al terminar el dibujo no quedo con el efecto de la cara medio volteada ;-;... Aparte siento que me quedó medio desproporcionada la cara XD.

And the second one I did like it but not completely so I think that for the next one I will leave the drawing without background xD, I think that if I had to grade the drawing I would give it a 5/10 because I know that I have to practice a lot more and because I feel that when I finish the drawing I don't get the effect of the half turned face ;-;.... Besides, I feel that the face was a bit disproportionate XD.
