A Walk To The Ends of The Earth and Back
Hello everyone ✨
For today's Wednesday walk and Make Me Smile collaboration, I went to a place I would never have thought in my wildest dreams to go. It was quite a shocker when a friend of mine messaged me earlier in the week and told me that she was going for a photoshoot and I had to tag along(not a request). A fluffing photoshoot! There's something about photoshoot that I don't like and it's the stress. The stress I envisioned was equivalent to the stress a person would get while walking to the ends of the earth
Reluctantly I obliged.
This walk began very early, around 8am. I don't like leaving the house so early on weekends but I I had to. With lots of positivity, we began the journey (my friend and I).
The beginning phase of this journey was so hilarious. We were a little bit behind the clock as we had to pick up a few things along the road. We boarded a public transport which was crawling in comparison to its kind. The man on the wheels could literally feel the tension coming from behind him yet, he didn't give a damn. At first, I thought that that was how the vehicle was until he picked up other passengers. As two other passengers joined us, the vehicle miraculously sped up. I found this hilarious but my friend didn't as she felt "played".
In the meantime, I took the opportunity to capture the clouds as they looked astonishing; they always do.

We passed by this pond and I got jittery. I like waterbodies a lot but from a distance:)
After picking up the clothes for the shoot, we headed straight to the photoshoot studio.
I have never officially been in a studio and I didn't plan to enter any until later in life but life always has its own plans.
This was the first view I got immediately when we arrived. The sun was shining brightly and I was so thankful for that.
We had to climb a series of staircases to get to the studio. It felt like I was ascending a mountain as the stairs kept increasing.
This building was filled with many rooms that were labelled "suites". I mistakenly bumped into a random suite and the aroma coming from there was just so enchanting. They were making dishes there but unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to take pictures.

After wandering for about two minutes, we finally located the particular room for the shoot. Finally!
I didn't know what to expect in a studio, apart from a camera of course. The first thing I noticed as we walked in was this light by the door. I like the way the light reflects on the ceiling.
I don't know what concept I was trying to make by adding my hands to this picture, but well, I did.

Another thing that caught my attention were these past artworks displayed on the wall. Normally, artists/photographers don't easily allow people to capture their works but this photographer was cool with it.
Then there was this thing. I've seen it a whole lot but in pictures and movies. I had to resist the urge to stand up and touch it; to prevent drawing too much attention. I skillfully took a picture of it from where I was seated.
Other people were in line for their own shoots and as such we had to wait for a while.
I didn't observe this light above till I randomly looked up. They looked really beautiful. It added to the aesthetics of the room.
At the end of the day, the pictures were taken and they came out pretty good. I wasn't a parteker in any of the pictures, It was better to be an onlooker.
This post is for the Wednesday walk challenge by @tattoodjay And Make me Smile Collaboration challenge by @elizacheng . I hope you enjoyed the walk as much as I did.
All images used belong to me and were taken with my mobile device except stated otherwise
With love, wongi ✨
That was a nice walk. I have been in the studio a couple of times for my kids and my friends but I haven't taken any studio pictures before. However, I can relate to the stress involved..those guys are always looking for creative ways of capturing pictures so that other eyes who sees it might get attracted and patronise them. That's great though
This studio is well equipped I must say

I saw it as a bit stressful because we did everything from scratch. The makeup, clothing, hair and all on the same day. In the end, it was fun and totally wortg the walk.
Thank you so much for coming around dearest ✨

Hahaha...the walk around the globe. Wow Best, the studio is really nice. I see why you said you could work here. Too bad you couldn't really enjoy it due to other factors. Glad I got the uncensored version of this trip though.😂🌚
Bessst😂.The studio was actually very comfy but we'll, what can I say. In the end, the walk was worth it at least.
At least you'll earn something for your suffering.😂
At least o😅
Such an interesting post, does seem like the driver did play you a little
Interesting to see the studio setup, I love takingphotos but hate being in front of the camera and havemy photo taken so the idea of going to a studio wouldnt have thrilled me either
On the flip side, the driver did play us after all.
Taking poses in front of a camera can be very hectic, for me. And most of my best pictures are always taken unawares.
Thank you so much for coming around✨
A few days ago I when I was talking a night walk with @ nhaji01, we saw lights designed just like the one you said you loved it’s reflection on the ceiling.
As for the thing you said you couldn’t resist touching, I’ve seen it a couple of times too, and it’s marveled me. It’s a sort of a reflector. That’s what the very good lightning of the photos taken by these photographers at weddings is owed to.
I like that arrow-designed tile. It looks really nice:)
Oh, if you've seen it prior to today, then you must know how beautiful it looks😊
I eventually got to find out that the thing was used during the picture sessions. It was indeed a lovely sight to behold.
I liked the arrow on the tile too. It was kinda epic that why I put my leg there.😅
Thank you so much for coming around ✨

The studio looks nice tho. Hahaha, the driver part got me, I can relate because Port Harcourt drivers are all the same 😂.
I had never taken any studio pictures before until this year. I must admit it looks very stressful and overwhelming too and it is😂 but you'll love the whole drama. I hope you go out of your comfort zone and take some cool studio pictures too🤗
I hope I eventually get to take one of them soon enough. They always come out looking nice; that's if the photographer is good of course 😅. I'm sure came out beautifully too.
Thank you for coming around lovely ✨
I hope you do🤗. Yeah, and that's the best part😌😊.
