MONOMAD - A Walk Through Ho Chi Minh City
I started near the park by the People’s Committee Building. The building stands calm and elegant while the city rushes around it. The park feels like a short pause. People sit, wait, watch, and then move on. A few steps later, the scooters take over and crossing the street becomes a small act of trust.

Not far away, under a simple market tent, ladies sit and sell vegetables. Baskets, plastic bags, quiet conversations. It feels like a small island of routine in the middle of all the movement. No show, no posing. Just another normal day, happening again and again.

The streets keep leading you forward until Tan Dinh Church suddenly appears in its impossible pink. It looks almost unreal, yet completely at home in the middle of the chaos. I walked around it slowly, watching the light and the traffic pass by.

Later, I found myself back at the park. The building was lit softly against the night sky. Quiet again, but different—like it had changed while I was gone. The city had slowed for a moment, letting me see it in a new way.

This is what I like about this city. You do not walk through it to get somewhere. You walk to let it happen to you.
And in the end, it feels like the city walked through you instead. Luckily, here around it's not hard to find some great bites to get your energy levels back ;)

Stay blessed
