Tatra Mountains/ Qurator's Photo Quest/ Panorama

Hello once again, wonderful Hive photography community!

I’m thrilled to share my latest contribution to the Curator’s Photo Quest – this time focused on the theme of panoramas. For this entry, I’m taking you on a visual journey to the stunning landscapes of Poland, where I recently had the pleasure of capturing a breathtaking view from the summit of Gubałówka Mountain, which rises to 1129 meters above sea level.

This wide-angle panorama brings together a sweeping vista of the majestic Tatra Mountains, with the charming town of Zakopane nestled in the foreground. The photo is a stitched composition made from several individual shots—so I don’t have precise shutter speed, ISO, or aperture details—but the final result captures the grandeur and atmosphere of the moment beautifully.

Knowing how much the Hive community appreciates the artistry of monochrome photography, I’ve included two distinct black and white versions.

The first is a classic monochrome rendition, while the second features a striking blue sky, creating a more dramatic contrast.

But I didn’t stop there. To explore the creative boundaries of photo editing, I used Samsung’s image software to reinterpret the scene through artistic lenses.

You’ll also find pastel and Cubist-style renderings of the panorama—each offering a fresh perspective and unique mood.

I hope these versions inspire and intrigue you as much as the original view inspired me. Thank you for taking the time to view my submission—I look forward to your feedback and to seeing all the amazing work shared by fellow photographers in this vibrant community.
