Funny how the Japanese manga influence has penetrated everywhere now!
My buddy used to own a skateboard shop. He tells me longboards are for posers and "ramp tramps." But I think he'd be encouraged that the crowd there was 50% female. It's still mostly a male activity around Boston.

Hmmmm... not sure about the definition of a "ramp tramp", but something tells me that this manga lady would totally wear it on her sleeve, only to disarm the depreciative nature of the term.
