She’s back

Its little miss take a break at the slightest but finds it hard to come back again.

Scrolling through the feed and it seems everyone has been great.
Well happy “every single holiday” I’ve missed since i left and surely the holidays was great to you all.
In my end, I enjoyed mine a lot irrespective of the many weird things going on in the country and around the globe so here I am with a little “break dump” and some context to them.

I took the header picture this new year, it was on a lunch date with my cousin and if you know me you’d know how much I love trying new and lovely restaurants.
So my cousin and I went to this restaurant - Bubba located in Portharcourt.
It’s got a wooden aesthetic kinda vibe with minimalistic interiors. Nothing to redundant and nothing too meager, it was just the right amount of everything especially judging by its size.
The experience was pleasant and the food was lovely, we had a nice time there and I’d likely visit again.

Before then, December.

This month I was a wedding guest. It was actually my first official wedding invitation. Honestly I was slightly emotional because I love weddings and have always wanted to be invited to one. When I got the IV, words could not explain my excitement! I congratulated her and promised I wouldn’t miss it for the world.
So my friend and coursemate got engaged last year and she promptly fixed a date for her wedding on the 24th of December.
Well not only did I get the invitation but I was chosen to be among her bridal train as well! okay maybe I did cry a little.
She had an amazing bridal shower prior to the wedding which I’ll make a vlog about soon. With balloons, food, friends, bubbles, snacks, drinks and many more. It was a magical moment and I can’t wait to share with you guys.
The wedding was a total shutdown.. I’ll save the rest for the vlog hehe.

Fast forward to new year, Baby girl went on vacation!

Maybe a sugar daddy took me and maybe not ;) anyway I landed in a 4 star hotel for three days to relax.
I basically spent my new year there and gosh I wished it would never end.
Sadly I barely took any pictures of myself because I was too busy enjoying my time there and I didn’t regret it. The hotel had everything. A spa, pool, a lounge, great service and good food.
While there, I got a stone massage and pedicure at the spa, enjoyed sweet breeze at the outdoor lounge of the hotel, was fed with good food, drank lots of white wine and overall enjoyed my stay. I already know this is gonna be my life every holiday hehe.

Fast forward to Valentine’s Day.
I went on a dinner date with a not so platonic friend but yes I’m still single :)

I was asked to be his Val five days before Valentine’s Day so I had so much time to prep but funny story the day came and it was chaotic.
My makeup wasn’t going as perfect as I wanted it to be, I had a dress malfunction and almost lost my wig. I was so close to canceling but I’d be a witch if I did.
That aside, It was a really romantic dinner. The restaurant’s ambiance was filled with the red petals and balloons, about three violinist setting the mood with their melodies and wonderful service. Oh well, after dinner I went home that night and slept alone in my bed lonely peacefully.

Furthermore, sometime later on I got a new frame and glasses prescription before I go completely blind.

I’m short sighted and it’s a not so great condition for a university student. I decided to try another frame asides the cat eyed one I’m used to. I like it but at the same time not really because I feel and look a lot more nerdy but as long as I can see I guess it’s okay.

Finally, a very good friend of mine signed out from uni and it was a party.

And with that, we’re all caught up.
