Coopers Hawk

Coopers Hawk. 328mm, 1/320 sec, f/9 ISO 4000

Typical of wildlife photography I had been skulking around for days in a 3D camouflage poncho and getting no where. Then this small hawk landed in a tree about 15 feet off the ground and about 30 feet away a little behind my left shoulder. I was making adjustments to my camera and it just kept looking at me as if it were saying - "C'mon start clickin', I aint got all day!"

This was from last September (2023) in Northern California.
