With just one click - Monomad Challenge

Today, with a perfect sunny day, I decided to do an exercise focused primarily on precision when capturing a scene. Therefore, I didn't prioritize speed, so I tried to take these photos with a single click. Well, sometimes I had to retake the shot because there were some imperfections, but overall, I managed to get quite a few shots with just one click, even in scenes where the subjects were moving.

I wanted to do this because, generally, when you go out to take photos, you take a lot of pictures. Of course, not all of them are usable because you always take retakes, and perhaps some people don't mind that, but it can actually affect the camera's performance. A camera has a lifespan that depends on the number of photos you take, and I feel that my camera, given its age and the number of photos I've taken, is starting to lose some of its functionality, or at least it doesn't work the same way it did when it was new.

This exercise helps us be more precise when taking photos, and it also saves us from having to select or organize many image files, which can be very tedious when we need to store or choose the photo we want to use, as in this case for the post. Here we see several scenes I found on the street with different points of interest for this day.

All photos are my own.

Excellent contrasts, shadows... And the one with the hats, top photo
