For this occasion, I bring you this series where non-human elements become a foreground beyond their surroundings. Of course, that environment is very important in creating harmony within the frame, whether through factors such as shadows or the incidence of light, for composition. However, in some cases, I also take advantage of frames. Of course, it's not something I intervene in, but rather something I find as I visualize possible compositions. Just like the first photograph I take advantage of of an installation to generate a frame that envelops the main objective, which is the window patterns of a building. Or, as we can see in the photograph, where a building is framed by what appears to be a broken window.

While the other photographs are driven by the perspective I wanted to capture, although in some cases, as always, some shadows influence the work, a very common element in my compositions. I also try to capture a bit of the purely individual in signs like the McDonald's. I'm not interested in that particular location, but I was partly interested in the facade.

From my point of view, it was more appropriate to use these photographs in black and white, firstly because the shadows provide greater contrast in the image, and I also think that repeating patterns in the images create better harmony in the composition, repetition, and texture in the sequence.

It's not that they look bad in color, but they definitely have their own magic in black and white. Cheers!
