The street in tune - Monomad Challenge

Today I was surprised when I saw the price of Hive. It's reached very low values, perhaps never seen before. But it's not just Hive; it's the market in general, and everything goes through cycles. Just as we experienced great rises a few years ago, now we're experiencing great falls, and perhaps many are discouraged from posting. But we have to keep going with this project. In my case, beyond the value of the coin, I focus on having this space to showcase my work and photographs, as well as being able to express myself to the world, because Hive is indeed a whole universe.

Therefore, today I bring you this series of photographs, of course in black and white, where we see different subjects captured on the street—that endless street where there's a whole gallery of images that one wants to capture with a camera. And, well, the intention is always to find that balance in the image.

As I always say, not everything in photography needs to have a profound meaning, like creating complex compositions to express a language, or as in photojournalism or documentary photography where information is conveyed or a story is told. Photography is also about capturing the simplicity of what can be seen, those details or motifs present in scenes that can be harmonized within the photographic frame. But ultimately, the interpretation that each viewer brings to the photos is also valuable; they can describe something that perhaps one doesn't see at first glance. That's how I think this visual work is handled.

All photographs are my own work.
