Just perceive - Monomad Challenge

It's not about a specific theme; it's about trying to show the vision one can have of this world from different perspectives. Sometimes, the environment itself, or the chaos generated by humankind, creates a perfect contrast for composition. That's how I see it, and that's what I try to capture. An example is the first photograph, which is of a statue of Simón Bolívar. It's not the figure itself that catches my attention, but rather how it contrasts with what we can see, like a tree with flowers. From that angle, I was drawn to take that photo.

And so we can see this whole visual code, as we can also see in other photographs where the composition of light is more prominent. Well, it's not that I manipulated the composition; it's simply the way it is at that moment, where the sunlight influences some areas more intensely while others are hidden in the shadows. That's what it's all about when taking these kinds of photographs.

While in other shots I focused on details and closer framing, where I sought to highlight the forms that define the object, person, or living being, because that's the best way I find to achieve harmony in the composition. Ultimately, it's all about how to fit the forms within the frame, or at least that's how I usually perceive it.
