It's never enough - Monomad Challenge

There are never enough pictures to capture an entire day, but even with the few I find, I can recall fragments of that day. All these photos are from my last trip to Valencia, Venezuela, a city I hold dear. I spent a large part of my life there while studying and working, and, importantly, my wife is from there. If I hadn't lived in that city, I might never have known it, and now our destiny has led us to live in another part of the country.

I often say I wish it were closer so I could visit the city more often, but we live so far apart that the trips are very long and tedious, not to mention the expensive airfare. But perhaps in the future, we'll return to live in Valencia and appreciate the endless streets I used to walk every day, searching for countless subjects to photograph.

I still have many more photos to share from that trip, specific places I hadn't visited in a long time, or even small nearby towns I'd never been to during all the time I lived in Valencia. But that was the perfect moment and circumstance to keep exploring, and sharing these photos is a way to keep those memories alive, each of those cherished details.
