Black and white environments and facades

For today, I'm sharing this series of black and white photographs showcasing mostly colonial-style environments and architectural structures. I tried to highlight the high contrast I like to demonstrate on occasion. Some photos were taken with my cell phone, while others were taken with my camera, so you might notice a slight difference in the lens quality.

That's my focus for today. However, I must also mention, outside the context of this post, the events unfolding in my country, Venezuela. Many of you are already aware of what happened on June 24th. We suffered immense devastation from two consecutive earthquakes. The consequences are truly staggering in a country completely distraught, but I hope that life will continue to flourish. My deepest condolences go out to the victims. Undoubtedly, many are giving their all right now to continue rescuing people, because hope always remains.
