Wednesday Walk: walking and shopping (ENG/ESP)

When the sun comes out you have to take advantage of it and not only for washing 😅. In this part of the world we are in winter and sunny days like this are much appreciated. Besides, it's ideal to take a walk and see what's new in the local stores.

Today was a day for strolling and shopping, I invited my cousin to join me and my husband and we went to stretch our feet 😅.

Where I live is a very nice place, around here the streets are made of cobblestones and there are very beautiful houses, especially for its very well kept gardens.

Cuando sale el sol hay que aprovecharlo y no solo para lavar 😅. Por esta parte del mundo estamos en invierno y días así soleados se agradecen mucho. Además, es ideal para dar un paseo y ver las novedades que ofrecen las tiendas locales.

Hoy fue un día para pasear y comprar, invité a mi prima para que me acompañara a mi y a mi esposo y fuimos a estirar los pies 😅.

Por donde vivo es un lugar muy bonito, por aquí las calles son de adoquines y hay casas muy bellas, sobre todo por sus jardines muy bien cuidados.

Although the cobblestones look very nice, there are already several parts that have been changing them for normal road, as it is much more practical and comfortable for both cars and bicycles and I know from experience 😅.

Aunque los adoquines se ven muy bonitos, ya hay varias partes que las han estado cambiando por carretera normal, pues es mucho más práctico y cómodo tanto para autos como para bicicletas y lo sé por experiencia 😅.

There are several rivers throughout the city so there are also several bridges. When I walk across them it is inevitable to admire the scenery for a moment and watch the river flow, it is relaxing.

Hay varios ríos por toda la ciudad por lo que también hay varios puentes. Cuando paso por ellos es inevitable admirar un momento el paisaje y ver el río correr, es algo relajante.

After picking up my cousin at her house we headed to the other side of the city to see some stores over there. Crossing the highway you can make out some white letters that are on a mountain and welcome you to the city (Ben-vindo a Corupá), although in the photo you can't see them very well.

Después de pasar por mi prima para su casa nos dirigimos al otro lado de la ciudad para ver algunas tiendas por allá. Al cruzar la autopista se puede divisar unas letras blancas qué están en una montaña y dan la bienvenida a la ciudad (Ben-vindo a Corupá), aunque en la foto no se pueden ver muy bien.

In this part of the city there are also very nice houses and quite a few businesses: stores, markets and restaurants. We went into several stores and did some shopping. I also saw many things that I liked for my baby on the way but I will buy more later as I still don't know if it is female or male 😄.

En esta parte de la ciudad también hay casas muy bonitas y bastantes negocios: tiendas, mercados y restaurantes. Entramos a varias tiendas e hicimos algunas compras. También vi muchas cosas que me gustaron para mi bebé en camino pero compraré más adelante pues aún no sé si es hembra o varón 😄.

It was a fun ride and we enjoyed it, but the truth is that I got home very tired, because we walked quite a bit and in my pregnant condition I think I overexerted myself. For now I don't think I should do it again, but anyway, I wanted to do it and it was pretty good overall 😊.

Fue un paseo divertido y que disfrutamos, pero la verdad llegué muy cansada a la casa, pues caminamos bastante y en mi condición de embarazada creo que me esforcé demás. Por ahora creo que no lo debo volver a repetir, pero en fin, deseaba hacerlo y fue bastante bueno en general 😊.
