Walking around Jaraguá Do Sul city in Santa Catarina (ENG/ESP)

Hello friends, I hope you are well, today I want to share with you a trip I made with my family and some friends to the city of Jaraguá del Sur. We always like to come here because it is a very lively city, where there are many stores and more options to have fun. You can enjoy a nice walk there.

Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren bien, hoy quiero compartirles un paseo que hice con mi familia y algunos amigos a la ciudad de Jaraguá del Sur. Siempre nos gusta venir aquí pues es una ciudad bastante movida, donde hay muchas tiendas y más opciones para divertirse. Ahí puedes disfrutar de un paseo muy agradable.

We arrived early in the morning and the sky was very cloudy, it was even drizzling a little and that worried us because we did not have an umbrella, but we decided to continue like this in the hope that later the sun would come out. We found wet streets and practically nobody on them, but we walked under the roofs of the stores and so we advanced.

Llegamos temprano en la mañana y el cielo estaba muy nublado, incluso estaba lloviznando un poco y eso nos preocupó pues no llevábamos sombrilla, pero decidimos seguir así con la esperanza de que más tarde saliera el sol. Nos encontramos con calles mojadas y prácticamente nadie en ellas, pero fuimos caminando por debajo de los techos de las tiendas y así avanzamos.

We arrived in front of a church that is on top of a hill, and decided to go inside to see the interior and also to give time for the stores to open. From that height the view of the city is very nice, and I also found the interior beautiful, especially the stained glass windows.

Llegamos al frente de una iglesia que está en lo alto de una cima, y decidimos entrar para ver su interior y así también dar tiempo a que las tiendas abrieran. Desde esa altura la vista a la ciudad es muy bonita, y el interior también me pareció hermoso, sobre todo por los vitrales.

When we left the church the weather was much better and the sun started to come out, so the city looked nicer. We walked around a bit and went into some stores and did some shopping. I was struck by a building which seemed to have chocolate dripping down its walls, I liked the creativity 😊.

Al salir de la iglesia ya el tiempo estaba mucho mejor y comenzó a salir el sol, así la ciudad se veía más bonita. Caminamos un poco y entramos a algunas tiendas e hicimos algunas compras. Me llamó la atención un edificio el cual parecía tener chocolate chorreando por sus paredes, me gustó la creatividad 😊.

Then we arrived at a square where there is a park for children to play, there are swings and many benches to sit on. There is also an amphitheater and a place full of water jets that go up and down to the rhythm of music. My brother told me that at night they put colored lights on it and it looks much nicer. Besides that we could see a group of people showing some capoeira steps, it was quite interesting.

Luego llegamos a una plaza en donde hay un parque para los niños jugar, hay columpios y muchos bancos para sentarse. También hay allí un anfiteatro y un lugar lleno de chorros de agua que suben y bajan al ritmo de una música. Mi hermano me dijo que de noche le ponen luces de colores y se ve mucho más lindo. Además de eso pudimos ver a un grupo de personas exhibiendo unos pasos de capoeira, fue bastante interesante.

Other places that I found interesting were this mural, which has already become one of my favorite places in the city and this hotel, I found it very elegant and neat.

Otros lugares que me parecieron interesantes fueron este mural, que ya se ha convertido en uno de mis lugares preferidos de la ciudad y este hotel, lo encontré muy elegante y arreglado.
