The one with my birthday 🎂 (En-Es)

Greetings Lifestyle friends. Last Saturday, December 23rd was my birthday and I would like to share with you a little bit of that day, not without first congratulating again a fellow hiver @yanerkidiaz who also celebrated her birthday that same day, which I think is a very nice coincidence.

First things first, I turned 28 and the truth is I was already looking forward to leave the 27 behind, 28 seems to me a much nicer number. I decided to celebrate this day with my family and some friends and taking advantage that recently (last week) a new cafeteria-pizzeria opened in the city we wanted to check it out and enjoy a delicious dinner in the best Italian style. Ah, the celebration was double, because besides my birthday, our friend Yaima and her partner were celebrating their first year together. In total there were 12 of us, since I went with my husband, my sister-in-law, my mom, my stepfather, my grandmother, my aunt and our friend Grisel with her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren, yes, a whole battalion.

The place is called "Aleo D' Remis" and is located right on the same street as the 6 bus stop, behind what we call " El Fruticuba" (this information is for my friends from Pinar del Río, in case they want to go there), a very central place and, although small, quite cozy. I loved the decoration, at the entrance an inflatable snowman welcomed us and the interior captivated me, on the wall there was artificial grass and a very original clock. There were also some Christmas lights between two columns, which with some artificial leaves made a kind of curtain, everything was very nice and elegant. But what I liked the most was the luminous sign that said: You deserve what you dream of.

We sat down at a big enough table so we could all be together and after looking at the menu we started to order the food. All the choices looked very delicious but I already had in mind what I wanted to eat that day, a cream cheese, a pizza and a chocolate ice cream shake.

Little by little they brought us the food and while I was waiting for my order I also tried some of my mom's cheese cubes and had a malt. Quickly the table was filled with food, here are some pictures of some of the dishes.

There is one detail that I have not told you, and that is that we knew the cook, as he is Grisel's brother and at the end we took a picture with him. I had to congratulate him on how delicious everything was, especially the cream cheese is truly the best I have tasted of all the restaurants in the city and I loved the ice cream shakes 😋.

When we were about to leave my mom and I went to the restroom and we found this original Christmas tree and we couldn't resist taking some pictures, I can't believe we almost missed it.

To end the night we all went for a walk down the street, because since Friday the city was celebrating the festival "Us" and there was music and even a stage where some singers were going to perform. We were only there for a short while, as the concert was starting later, we danced a little to the music that was playing in the different food stalls and then we went home.

In summary, I had a good day and a better night, being with my loved ones on that special day was the best and I loved being able to visit a new place to which I will surely return.

Saludos amigos de Lifestyle. El pasado sábado 23 de diciembre estuve de cumpleaños y me gustaría compartir con ustedes un poco de ese día, no sin antes volver a felicitar a una compañera hiver @yanerkisdiaz que también estuvo de cumpleaños ese mismo día, lo que me parece una coincidencia muy bonita.

Primero lo primero, cumplí 28 años y la verdad ya estaba deseando dejar los 27 atrás, el 28 me parece un número mucho más bonito. Decidí celebrar este día con mi familia y algunos amigos y aprovechando que recientemente (la semana pasada) una nueva cafetería-pizzería abrió en la ciudad quisimos ir a chequearla y a disfrutar de una rica cena al mejor estilo italiano. Ah, la celebración era doble, pues además de mi cumpleaños, nuestra amiga Yaima y su pareja estaban celebrando su primer año juntos. En total éramos 12 personas, pues fui con mi esposo, mi cuñada, mi mamá, mi padrastro, mi abuela, mi tía y nuestra amiga Grisel con su hija, su yerno y sus nietos, sí, todo un batallón.

El lugar se llama “Aleo D’ Remis” y se encuentra justo en la misma calle de la parada de la 6, atrás del Fruticuba (este dato es para mis amigos pinareños, por si quieren llegarse por allí), un lugar bastante céntrico y, aunque pequeño, bastante acogedor. La decoración me encantó, en la entrada un muñeco de nieve inflable nos daba la bienvenida y el interior me cautivó, en la pared había césped artificial y un reloj muy original. También habían unas luces navideñas entre dos columnas, que con unas hojas artificiales hacían una especie de cortina, muy bonito y elegante todo. Pero lo que más me gustó fue el cartel luminoso que decía: Mereces lo que sueñas.

Nos sentamos en una mesa bastante grande para que todos pudiéramos estar juntos y después de ver el menú empezamos a ordenar la comida. Todas las opciones se veían muy deliciosas pero ya yo tenía en mente lo que quería comer ese día, una crema de queso, una pizza y un batido de helado de chocolate.

Poco a poco nos fueron trayendo las cosas y en lo que esperaba mi pedido también probé de los daditos de queso de mi mamá y me tomé una malta. Rápidamente la mesa se llenó de comida, aquí les dejo algunas fotos de algunos de los platos.

Hay un detalle que no le he dicho, y es que conocíamos al cocinero, pues es el hermano de Grisel y al final nos tiramos una foto con él. Tuve que felicitarlo por lo delicioso que estaba todo, especialmente la crema de queso es verdaderamente la mejor que he probado de todos los restaurantes de la ciudad.

Ya casi al salir mi mamá y yo fuimos al baño y nos encontramos con este árbol de Navidad tan original y no nos pudimos resistir a tomarnos unas fotos, no puedo creer que casi nos lo perdemos.

Para terminar la noche todos fuimos a dar una vuelta a la calle, pues desde el viernes la ciudad estaba de fiesta conmemorando el festival "Nosotros" y había música y hasta un escenario donde se iban a presentar unos cantantes. Estuvimos solo un pequeño rato, pues el concierto empezaba más tarde, bailamos un poco con la música que había puesta en los diferentes puestos de comida y luego nos fuimos a casa.

En resumen, tuve un buen día y una mejor noche, estar con los seres queridos en ese día tan especial fue lo mejor y amé poder visitar un lugar nuevo al que de seguro regresaré.
