October in photos: last month of my pregnancy 📸 (ENG/ESP)

Hello everyone! Just a few days away from giving birth, today I want to look back on what October has been for me — my last month of pregnancy 🥰.

Well, at the beginning of the month I had to get an ultrasound, and there’s no greater joy than hearing that your baby is perfectly fine, listening to that little heartbeat, and seeing some images.

My checkups have also become weekly, and my husband and I have made it a habit to have a guarapo (sugarcane juice) afterward.

We took a stroll around the city of Jaraguá, and we could already see lots of Halloween and Christmas items in the stores. At work, we celebrated Children’s Day, and everyone got a delicious churro 😋. Although lately my snacks have been quite healthy, I’ve been trying to eat a lot of fruit, mainly to take care of my health and my baby’s.

Toward the end of the month, we celebrated my mom’s birthday — a simple gathering with close family and friends. We also did another photo session at home to make the most of these last weeks with my belly and keep that beautiful memory. In another post, I’ll be sharing some of those pictures 😊.

In the last week of the month, I decided to take a break from work and finally start my maternity leave, as it was becoming quite uncomfortable to keep working when my body just asked for rest. The big day is almost here, and I need this time to relax — maybe finish my book and also get everything ready for the baby’s arrival.

All in all, October has been a very special month for me, but without a doubt, November will be unforgettable for obvious reasons. I just hope everything goes well, and as I can, I’ll keep sharing updates with you. Thank you all for reading, and I hope your month was just as you wished 🤗🤗🤗.

Hola a todos, a solo unos pocos días de dar a luz, hoy quiero recordar lo que ha sido octubre para mí, mi último mes de gestación 🥰.

Bien a principio de mes tuve que realizarme un ultrasonido y no hay mayor alegría que escuchar que tu bebé está en perfecto estado, poder escuchar su corazoncito latiendo y ver algunas imágenes.

También las consultas han pasado a ser semanales y mi esposo y yo ya hemos hecho un hábito el tomarnos un guarapo después de estas.

Estuvimos paseando por la ciudad de Jaraguá y ya podíamos ver en las tiendas muchos artículos de Halloween y Navidad. En mi trabajo celebraron el dia de los niños y todos recibimos un churro muy delicioso 😋, aunque últimamente mis meriendas han sido muy saludables, he tratado de comer mucha fruta sobre todo para cuidar mi salud y la de mi bebé.

Ya casi terminando el mes celebramos el cumpleaños de mi mamá, algo sencillo con familiares y amigos más cercanos. También hicimos otra sesión de fotos en casa, para aprovechar las últimas semanas con mi barriga y que quede ese lindo recuerdo, en otro post les estaré mostrando algunas de esas fotos 😊.

En la última semana del mes decidí tomarme un descanso del trabajo y finalmente comenzar mi licencia de maternidad, pues ya se me hacía bastante incómodo seguir trabajando cuando el cuerpo solo me pide descanso. Ya falta muy poco para el tan esperado día y necesito ese descanso para estar relajada, tal vez pueda terminar mi libro y además ultimar todos los detalles para tener todo listo para la llegada del bebé.

En fin, octubre ha sido un mes super especial para mí, pero sin dudad noviembre será inolvidable por razones obvias, solo espero que todo salga muy bien y a medida que pueda les iré contando. Gracias a todos por leer y espero que su mes también haya sido como lo esperaban 🤗🤗🤗.
