Celebrating our daughter's first month 🎂🥰 (ENG/ESP)

Hello friends, I can't believe it's already been a month since I had my daughter Emily, and although at first I couldn't see the days passing by, because everything was new and difficult yet exciting at the same time, now I see that the saying "time flies" is very true. I look at the photos from this past month and I still can't believe I have a daughter. Even though caring for a newborn is a very complex and emotionally exhausting task, it's all worth it, I can assure you.

Well, the baby is now one month old and obviously too young for big celebrations, but we didn't want to let the day go by unnoticed. We dressed her up nicely and took several photos with her to remember this day, as well as celebrating with a small piece of cake, which is something we plan to do every month for a year and then turn into a beautiful video that she can watch when she's older.

A month full of love...

This month we have learned to be parents, to feel immense love for someone so small that it makes us try to give our best every day. No matter how tired we are, our daughter has become our priority.

Right now, she depends entirely on us, so our whole routine has changed to suit her needs. But it's a routine filled with love. We enjoy everything we do with her: changing her diaper, bath time, feeding her, doctor's visits, reading her books, and above all, talking to her a lot.

It's so nice to see how she has developed over the past month. We never miss an opportunity to take lots of photos and videos, which she will thank us for in the future. Most importantly, she is a very healthy girl, and for that I thank God every day.

Memories of the first day...

I don't know if this is something all mothers do, but if I have some free time during the day, I always go to my phone to look at the first photos of my daughter. That moment when I saw her for the first time was so special, it's an emotion I won't try to explain, you have to experience it to truly know how it feels, and I can relive it whenever I want by looking at the photos. I remember they placed her next to my face and I tried to calm her with my voice, calling her by name. Then, when I was recovering from the effects of the anesthesia, they brought her to me to feed her for the first time. It was all a very beautiful process.

Anyway, it has been a very special month for me and my husband, and we couldn't help but celebrate, even if it was in a simple way 🥰.

Hola amigos, no puedo creer que ya haya pasado un mes desde que tuve a mi hija Emily, y aunque al principio no veía los días pasar, pues todo era nuevo y difícil a la vez de emocionante, ahora veo que es muy cierta esa frase que dice que el tiempo se va volando. Miro las fotos de todo este mes y no me creo aún que tengo una hija, a pesar que cuidar de un recién nacido es una tarea muy compleja y emocionalmente exhaustiva, todo vale la pena, se los puedo asegurar.

Pues ya la niña tiene un mes de vida y obviamente está muy pequeña para grandes celebraciones, pero no quisimos pasar el día por alto. La vestimos bonito y nos tomamos varias fotos con ella para recordar este día, además de celebrarlo con un pedacito de pastel, que es algo que pensamos hacer cada mes por un año y al final lo convertiremos en un video hermoso que ella podrá ver cuando sea mayor.

Un mes lleno de amor...

En este mes hemos aprendido a ser padres, a sentir un amor inmenso por alguien tan pequeño que hace que cada día intentemos dar lo mejor de nosotros, sin importar que tan cansados estemos nuestra hija se ha convertido en nuestra prioridad.

En estos momentos ella depende totalmente de nosotros, por lo que toda nuestra rutina ha cambiado a sus intereses. Pero es una rutina llena de amor, cada cosa que hacemos con ella lo disfrutamos, cambiarle el pañal, la hora de su baño, darle su leche, visitas al médico, leerle sus libros y sobre todos hablar mucho con ella 🥰.

Es muy bonito ver como ha evolucionado en este mes, nunca perdemos oportunidad para tomarle muchas fotos y vídeos, cosa que nos agradecerá en un futuro. Lo más importante de todo es que es una niña muy saludable y por eso le agradezco a Dios a diario.

Recuerdos del primer día...

No sé si esto es algo que hacen todas las madres, pero si tengo algún tiempo libre durante el día siempre voy a mi teléfono a ver las primeras fotos de mi hija. Ese momento en que la vi por primera vez fue tan especial, es una emoción que no voy a intentar explicar, hay que vivirlo para saber en verdad lo que se siente, y lo puedo revivir siempre que quiera al ver las fotos. Me acuerdo que la colocaron junto a mi cara y traté de calmarla con mi voz, llamándola por su nombre. Luego, cuando me estaba recuperando del efecto de la anestecia me la trajeron para alimentarla por primera vez, fue un proceso muy bonito todo.

En fin, ha sido un mes muy especial para mí y para mi esposo y no podíamos dejar de celebrarlo, aunque fuera de una manera sencilla 🥰.
