A Sunday Walk with Green Scenes and Sweet Stops 🌿🍦 (Eng/Esp)

Hello friends, happy Sunday to all of you. Today I woke up and as every Sunday I proposed to do some cleaning at home, but good thing we were all thinking the same thing, so I had enough help, so we divided the tasks and finished faster.

But I also felt like taking a walk with my husband, enjoying the beautiful blue sky and feeling the sun with a mild winter atmosphere, a perfect mix.

Hola amigos, feliz domingo para todos. Hoy me levanté y como cada domingo me propuse hacer limpieza en casa, pero que bueno que todos estábamos pensando lo mismo, así que tuve bastante ayuda, por lo que nos repartimos las tareas y terminamos más rápido.

Pero también tenía ganas de dar un paseo con mi esposo, disfrutar del cielo azul tan lindo y sentir el sol con un ambiente invernal leve, una mezcla perfecta.

We decided to go to the ice cream shop where my cousin works, I felt like having an ice cream shake and I know they make really good ice cream there. The way there is not very far, perfect to enjoy a nice walk and see the beautiful details of the city. Especially that green color of the plants that are illuminated by the sun. I love a street where there are many palm trees and how interesting to see the green mold on the sidewalks, today it seemed to be a more vibrant color. You can also find several contrasts, like a tree completely without leaves and another one full of beautiful flowers.

Decidimos ir a la heladería donde trabaja mi prima, tenía ganas de tomarme un batido de helado y sé que ahí los hacen muy buenos. El camino hasta allá no es muy lejos, perfecto para diafritar de un paseo agradable y ver los detalles bonitos de la ciudad. Sobre todo ese color verde de las plantas que se iluminan con el sol. Me encanta una calle en la que hay muchas palmas y que interesante ver el moho verde en las aceras, hoy parecía estar de un color más vibrante. También puedes encontrar varios contrastes, como un árbol completamente sin hojas y otro lleno de flores hermosas.

After passing through the center of town we arrived at the ice cream parlor. It is quite a cozy place and very much preferred by the people here. There my cousin made us the ice cream shakes which were delicious as always 😋. We ordered them strawberry because I know they are very good, although another time I would like to try a different flavor, but you know, change is scary and you stick to what you already know is good 😅.

Anyway friends, it was a ride we enjoyed, both the weather and a delicious dessert and so we did something different on this Sunday. Nothing better than the satisfaction of getting dressed up for a walk around town knowing that the house is clean and tidy 😊.

Después de pasar por el centro de la ciudad llegamos a la heladería. Es un lugar bastante acogedor y muy preferido por las personas aquí. Allí mi prima nos hizo los batidos de helado que estaban deliciosos como siempre 😋. Los pedimos de fresa porque sé que están muy buenos, aunque en otro momento me gustaría intentar un sabor diferente, pero ya saben, el cambio da miedo y uno se atiene a lo que ya conoce que es bueno 😅.

En fin amigos, fue un paseo que disfrutamos, tanto del clima como de un delicioso postre y así hicimos algo diferente en este domingo. Nada mejor que la satisfacción de arreglarse para dar una vuelta a la ciudad sabiendo que la casa está limpia y ordenada 😊.
