Today, I took my daughter on a visit to the MOE (Ministry of Education) Heritage Centre, and we both enjoyed the tour immensely. There are two main reasons why we found this experience so delightful:

Firstly, the tour guide was incredibly professional. She managed to present the history of Singapore's education development over the past 200 years in a concise and clear manner. After listening to her explanations, a vivid timeline of Singapore's educational progress formed in my mind. The guide mentioned that she was a retired school teacher and had also served as a principal in the past. I believe this background contributed to her expertise in sharing the history of Singapore's education development so proficiently.

The second reason for our enjoyment was the pleasant surprises we encountered during the exhibition. For example, we saw preserved artifacts from my daughter's school dating back to when it was first established over a hundred years ago. Moreover, we discovered that some places we had visited in Singapore were formerly school campuses. Knowing this information allowed us to feel more connected to the history of these locations and enriched our experiences when recalling our visits there.

Although this exhibition may not be a popular tourist attraction, it still provided us with valuable insights and a memorable experience.
