Buenos días comunidad, la dinámica de esta semana me pareció genial. Ese tipo de preguntas te hacen pensar, buscar, visualizar, analizar y mucho más.

Esta primera pregunta me parece muy interesante y mi favorita. Así que comencemos…

📸 Si el carrete de tu cámara pudiera contar la historia de tu vida, ¿qué revelaría sobre ti? Olvídate por un momento de las fotos de Instagram cuidadosamente elegidas. Piensa en las imágenes aleatorias, capturas de pantalla, selfies, lugares, comidas, personas y pequeños momentos cotidianos que has capturado. ¿Qué aprendería alguien sobre ti con solo desplazarse por el carrete de tu cámara?

Es una pregunta que te hace reflexionar sobre lo que has hecho con tu vida hasta el momento, sobre todo lo que has vivido, si lo has disfrutado y si te gusta lo que ves, en fin, me encantó.

Es súper complicado jeje, hay bastantes fotos e imágenes en mi carrete, por un lado, la persona descubriría que me gusta coleccionar mucho las figuras LEGO, y sí, nada lejos de la realidad jeje. Me encanta y justo estos días pude terminar una colección de Harry Potter.

También verían que tengo muchas capturas de mis clases, quizá se preguntarían por qué saco tantas, quizá porque no quiere perderse nada o es que no toma apuntes jeje. Al contrario, me gusta siempre tener siempre ese respaldo de las cosas más importantes de mis clases.

Actualmente estoy cursando un diplomado en blockchain y esta última etapa está siendo más difícil porque es de programación y como no soy de esa área debo poner más atención y cuidado en lo que vemos cada clase.

Otras fotos que podrían ver son de comida, seguramente dirían: “uy, esta chica sale mucho y debe tener mucho dinero para gastar”, la verdad es que no es tanto así jeje. Me gusta visitar nuevos lugares, probar comida distinta, me considero una foodie.

Pero, además de explorar todo ese mundo también quiero escribir posts en Hive sobre mis experiencias y en mis demás redes sociales, y si es un buen lugar, recomendarlo.

Existen también fotos de varios murales que he ido tomando y encontrando por distintos lugares de mi ciudad, seguramente dirían que me gusta el arte y eso es cierto, una se pone a explorar y poner más atención. Además, me gusta escribir sobre esto en Hive.

También tengo fotos de eventos a los que he asistido, dirían que soy una joven muy popular, un poco sí jeje, pero voy más a estos eventos para aprender sobre temas de web3, tecnología, emprendimiento y de ese tipo. También conozco nuevas personas y mi círculo va creciendo.

Y, quizá para cerrar, también encontrarían fotos mías, dirán que soy algo coqueta y no dejo pasar la oportunidad para tomarme una foto, puede que sí p puede que no jaja, me gusta tomarme fotos, pero de igual forma es para acompañar mis posts y cuando siento que me veo muy bonita.

Si tuviera que resumirlo, creo que la mayoría de mis fotos muestran mi compromiso y mi pasión por escribir blogs. Pero también muestran la parte feliz de mi vida porque, al revisar mi carrete, creo que no encontré muchas cosas tristes, quizá sí que den nostalgia.

No es porque siempre me sienta feliz ni nada por el estilo, pero a veces, al ver todo eso, uno también se anima y se alegra. Piensa en lo que ha construido y lo que ha vivido; si son momentos memorables, pues también te impulsan bastante.

No creí tomarme tanto espacio para esta pregunta, pero en serio considero que es una gran pregunta que formularon esta semana.

🤑 ¿Cuál es un “lujo” que cree que está completamente sobrevalorado? Podría ser cualquier cosa que la gente vea como un símbolo de una vida cómoda o exitosa, como un bolso de diseñador, una casa enorme, unas vacaciones costosas, restaurantes elegantes o incluso algo mucho más simple. ¿En qué no gastarías tu dinero, incluso si pudieras permitírtelo? ¿Y por qué?

Creo que justamente optaría por las cosas materiales, como los bolsos de diseñador. Si bien lo pusieron como ejemplo, creo que es algo que no considero necesario para nada y también la ropa y joyas en general. No gastaría mi dinero en cosas tan caras y que no son de utilidad.

Pensándolo más a detalle, creo que tampoco compraría autos, motos u otro tipo de vehículos caros y de marcas premium tampoco las compraría. También celulares y audífonos muy caros.

Creo que todo aquello que sobrepase los precios promedios de las cosas no lo compraría, porque siento que no son para mí, en la mayoría de estos productos, lo que se vende es la experiencia o la sensación que te hacen sentir, como una idea de estatus.

No creo ser materialista, por ejemplo, si me gusta algo lo primero que pienso es si voy a utilizarlo siempre o es solo un capricho porque es bonito el color, el diseño u otra cosa. Y si le agregamos un precio exorbitante, peor, ni lo miro.

No digo que no me dé mis gustos ni que no compre lo que quiero, pero me considero también una chica ahorrativa. Tengo otras prioridades y gastar en cosas que no tienen valor para mí sería una pérdida.

Posiblemente preferiría invertirlo y hacer trabajar ese dinero.

En resumen, podría decirse que no compraría objetos de lujo, electrodomésticos, vehículos, laptops, ropa o joyas que tengan precios excesivos porque no es algo que necesito, no es algo que me ayude a generar o sea de utilidad para algo más.

LOH #303: What Would My Photos Say About Me?

Good morning, community! I thought this week’s prompt was great. Those kinds of questions make you think, explore, visualize, analyze, and so much more.

I find this first question really interesting—it’s my favorite. So let’s get started…

📸 If your camera roll could tell the story of your life, what would it reveal about you? Forget for a moment about your carefully curated Instagram photos. Think about the random images, screenshots, selfies, places, meals, people, and little everyday moments you’ve captured. What would someone learn about you just by scrolling through your camera roll?

It’s a question that makes you reflect on what you’ve done with your life so far—on everything you’ve experienced, whether you’ve enjoyed it, and whether you like what you see. In short, I loved it.

It’s super complicated, haha. There are quite a few photos and images on my camera roll. For one thing, someone would discover that I really love collecting LEGO figures—and yes, that’s spot on, haha. I love it, and just recently I was able to complete a Harry Potter collection.

They’d also see that I have a lot of screenshots from my classes. Maybe they’d wonder why I take so many—perhaps because I don’t want to miss a thing, or maybe because I don’t take notes, haha. On the contrary, I always like to have a backup of the most important parts of my classes.

I’m currently taking a certificate program in blockchain, and this last stage is proving to be more difficult because it involves programming—and since I don’t have a background in that field, I have to pay closer attention and be more careful with what we cover in each class.

Other photos you might see are of food—you’d probably say, “Wow, this girl goes out a lot and must have a lot of money to spend.” The truth is, it’s not quite like that, haha. I like visiting new places and trying different foods; I consider myself a foodie.

But besides exploring all that, I also want to write posts on Hive about my experiences and share them on my other social media platforms—and if a place is good, recommend it.

There are also photos of various murals I’ve been taking and discovering in different parts of my city. You’d probably say I like art, and that’s true—once you start exploring, you pay more attention. Plus, I like writing about this on Hive.

I also have photos from events I’ve attended. You might say I’m a very popular young woman—a little bit, yeah, haha—but I go to these events mostly to learn about Web3, technology, entrepreneurship, and topics like that. I also meet new people, and my circle keeps growing.

And, maybe to wrap things up, you’d also find photos of me. You might say I’m a bit of a show-off and never pass up a chance to take a photo—maybe I am, maybe I’m not, haha. I like taking photos, but it’s mostly to accompany my posts and when I feel like I look really pretty.

If I had to sum it up, I think most of my photos show my commitment and passion for blogging. But they also show the happy side of my life because, looking through my camera roll, I don’t think I found many sad things—though they might evoke a sense of nostalgia.

It’s not that I always feel happy or anything like that, but sometimes, when you see all of that, it lifts your spirits and makes you happy. You think about what you’ve built and what you’ve experienced; if they’re memorable moments, they really give you a boost.

I didn’t think I’d take up so much space answering this question, but I really do think it’s a great question you asked this week.

🤑 What is a “luxury” that you think is completely overrated? It could be anything people see as a symbol of a comfortable or successful life, like a designer handbag, a huge house, an expensive vacation, fancy restaurants, or even something much simpler. What wouldn’t you spend your money on, even if you could afford it? And why?

I think I’d definitely go with material things, like designer handbags. Although they used that as an example, I don’t consider it necessary at all—and the same goes for clothes and jewelry in general. I wouldn’t spend my money on things that are so expensive and serve no practical purpose.

Thinking about it more carefully, I don’t think I’d buy cars, motorcycles, or other types of expensive, premium-brand vehicles either. Nor would I buy very expensive cell phones or headphones.

I don’t think I’d buy anything that exceeds the average price of things, because I feel like they’re not for me. With most of these products, what’s being sold is the experience or the feeling they give you—like a sense of status.

I don’t think I’m materialistic. For example, if I like something, the first thing I ask myself is whether I’ll actually use it all the time or if it’s just a whim because I like the color, the design, or something else. And if it comes with an exorbitant price tag, even worse—I won’t even look at it.

I’m not saying I don’t treat myself or that I don’t buy what I want, but I also consider myself a thrifty person. I have other priorities, and spending money on things that have no value to me would be a waste.

I’d probably prefer to invest that money and make it work for me.

In short, you could say I wouldn’t buy luxury items, appliances, vehicles, laptops, clothes, or jewelry that are overpriced because they’re not something I need—they don’t help me generate income or serve any other useful purpose.
