Mi Primera Vez..Hive (Esp-Ing)

Nací, crecí, me desarrolle y …..Bueno… todavía no morí!!!! XD… por eso estoy aquí presentándome a ustedes. Mi nombre es Walkiria, nací en Octubre de 1977, aunque parece algo lejos en el tiempo, para mí fue hace poco, porque continúo con esos deseos inmensos por aprender y explorar cosas nuevas como sucede con la mayoría de los niños. Pues sí, tengo 47 años de edad y vivo en La Habana Cuba.

Mi infancia fue tranquila, me gustaba jugar en el barrio con mis amigos al escondite, al pon, el ula-ula, saltar la suiza, jugar yaquis, palitos chinos, montar bicicleta, inventarnos mundos imaginarios, comer durofríos, merenguitos, melcochas, pirulí, chicharritas, explorar lugares, llegar a la casa cansada y feliz por lo tanto que jugábamos, para amanecer al siguiente día e ir a la escuela, ¡adoraba la escuela!, nunca quería faltar, la escuela fue un lugar mágico, resolver problemas, hacer tareas, conocer el arte, las ciencias, un mundo que me ayudaba a crecer. Con el tiempo descubrí la química y la física, y mi mente entonces no dejó de volar, no sabía que quería estudiar de grande porque todas las ingenierías me gustaban. Al concluir mis estudios preuniversitarios estudié Química Industrial y luego mis estudios universitarios los realicé en el Centro Universitario José Antonio Echeverría más conocido como CUJAE, en la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial. Amé esta carrera porque me permitía conocer e integrar lo esencial de todas las ingenierías en una sola.

Trabajé en el proceso de fabricación del vidrio como controladora de la calidad, algo tan hermoso y sorprendente que todavía recuerdo los procesos. Un centro del polo científico del oeste de la ciudad me permitió conocer el entorno de la investigación tan fascinante para la comunidad científica de mi país. Otra etapa trabajé en un ministerio que me abrió las puertas para posteriormente ingresar en una de las empresas comerciales más importantes y que me introdujo en esta actividad. Hoy me desempeño como comercial en una fábrica de grifería, accesorios para baño, muebles sanitarios, trampas de grasas, suavizadores de agua y coladeras. Hacemos estudios de centros para asesorar y brindar las mejores soluciones a partir de los productos que comercializamos.

Amo cocinar, es una de mis grandes pasiones, bailar, sin perderme un festival de la salsa, casa de la música, jazzplaza, festival de ballet, teatros, festival de cine latinoamericano y los espacios que aparezcan, otras manifestaciones artísticas también captan mi atención como son el cine, las artes escénicas, la literatura, en fin… el arte en general. Disfruto mucho aprender, conocer nuevos lugares y pasar tiempo con mi familia que para mí es mi gran obra.

Tengo dos hijos adolescentes… y si, está resultando retadora la experiencia. El varón estudia en la secundaria y la niña se encuentra en el preuniversitario. Son dos amores de personas, inteligentes, respetuosos y estudiosos. Ella quiere estudiar diseño y Él automática, yo detrás para apoyarlos y permitirles soñar. Adoro la comunicación que tenemos.

Cómo conocí la existencia de esta comunidad? Pues por las recomendaciones de la hija de una amiga de muchos años, una personita a la que vi nacer y por todo el amor que le profeso es mi sobrina aunque no lo sea de sangre, lo es de corazón @gretvictcald. En una de sus visitas a mi casa surgió el tema y confieso que me resultó sumamente interesante. No lo dudé cuando me explicó el amplio abanico de posibilidades, la versatilidad del proyecto, por lo que decidí primero estudiarlo un poco, luego crearme una cuenta y hoy estoy haciendo oficialmente mi presentación ante esta maravillosa comunidad.

I was born, I grew up, I developed and… Well… I haven’t died yet!!!! XD… that’s why I’m here introducing myself to you. My name is Walkiria. I was born in October 1977. Although it seems like a long time ago, it was quite recently for me, as I still have that immense desire to learn and explore new things, like most children. Yes, I'm 47 years old and live in Havana, Cuba. My childhood was peaceful. I loved playing hide-and-seek with my friends in the neighborhood, tag, hula hoop, skipping rope, playing Yaquis (a type of game), Chinese sticks, riding bikes, inventing imaginary worlds, eating durofríos (a type of dessert made with chocolate), meringues (a type of candy), toffee pudding (a type of candy), lollipops (a type of candy), chicharritas (a type of candy), exploring places, coming home tired and happy from all the games we played, and waking up the next day to go to school. I loved school! I never wanted to miss school. School was a magical place, solving problems, doing homework, learning about art and science; it was a world that helped me grow. Over time, I discovered chemistry and physics, and my mind never stopped wandering. I didn't know what I wanted to study when I grew up because I liked all types of engineering. When I finished my pre-university studies, I studied Industrial Chemistry, and then I completed my university studies at the José Antonio Echeverría University Center, better known as CUJAE, in the Industrial Engineering program. I loved this degree because it allowed me to learn and integrate the essentials of all engineering disciplines into one. I worked in the glass manufacturing process as a quality controller, something so beautiful and amazing that I still remember the processes. A center at the scientific hub in the west of the city allowed me to experience the research environment so fascinating to my country's scientific community. I also worked for a ministry, which opened the doors for me to later join one of the most important commercial companies and introduced me to this industry. Today I work as a sales representative for a factory that produces faucets, bathroom accessories, sanitary fixtures, grease traps, water softeners, and drains. We conduct studies of centers to provide advice and the best solutions based on the products we sell. I love cooking—it's one of my greatest passions—and dancing, which I always enjoy, is a must-visit for salsa festivals, music festivals, Jazz Plaza, ballet festivals, theaters, Latin American film festivals, and any other venues. Other artistic expressions also capture my attention, such as film, the performing arts, literature, and art in general. I truly enjoy learning, exploring new places, and spending time with my family, which, for me, is my greatest work. I have two teenage children… and yes, the experience is proving challenging. My son is in high school, and my daughter is in pre-university. They are two lovely people, intelligent, respectful, and studious. She wants to study design, and he wants to study design automatically. I'm there to support them and let them dream. I love the communication we have. How did I learn about this community? Well, thanks to the recommendation of the daughter of a longtime friend. A little girl I saw growing up, and because of all the love I have for her, she's my niece, even though we're not blood relatives, but I am. The topic came up during one of her visits to my house, and I confess I found it extremely interesting. I didn't hesitate when she explained the wide range of possibilities and the versatility of the project, so I decided to first study it a bit, then create an account, and today I'm officially introducing myself to this wonderful community.
