Ahoj. V neděli jsme vyjeli na výlet na hrad Horní hrad (Hauenštejn).

Hauenštejn vznikl jako královský hrad ve 13. století.
V dnešní době to je ruina, kterou majitel postupně, opravuje.

The parking lot is located about 800 meters from the castle. We followed the blue hiking trail, which leads slightly uphill. Even along the way, there were beautiful views of the castle.

Parkování je asi 800 m daleko od hradu.
Ke hradu jsme šli po modré turistické značce mírně do kopce. Už cestou byl na hrad pěkný výhled.

Just behind the entrance gate, there’s a small courtyard with tables and benches. You’ll also find a kiosk offering snacks and drinks.

Za vstupní branou je menší nádvoří, z části zaplněné stoly a lavičkami. Je tu kiosek, kde si můžete dát něco k jídlu a pití.

The tour is self-guided, though printed guides are available. You can explore multiple floors of the castle, wandering through rooms with missing floors, crumbling walls, and newly reconstructed sections like roof trusses and restored masonry.

Prohlídka je bez průvodce. Můžete dostat průvodce tištěného.
Po hradu se pohybujete v několika patrech. Vidíte místnosti, kde chybí podlahy, rozpadlé zdi, ale i nové zrekonstruované části zdí, krovů a pod.

Some of the rooms have already been renovated or partially restored and feature various exhibits.

Některé místnosti jsou už zrekonstruovaný, nebo částečně zrekonstruovaný a jsou v nich vystaveny různé exponáty.

The castle tower, dating back to around 1253, is especially noteworthy. It’s accessible and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Pozoruhodná je také hradní věž. Postavena byla zřejmě v roce 1253.
Věž je přístupná a je zní krásný výhled po okolí.

Another highlight is the castle cellar, where ghostly motifs are creatively illuminated in the dark rooms – quite the “scary room” experience! 👻

Zajímavé je i hradní sklepení, kde jsou v tmavých místnostech osvětlené strašidelné motivy (Bubákov👻)

A bit above the castle, you’ll find the Chapel of St. Michael the Archangel, built in 1851. Next to the chapel lies a botanical garden and arboretum, founded in 1971.

Kousek nad hradem je zámecká ‎kaple sv. Archanděla Michaela (1851) a u kaple se rozkládá botanická zahrada a arboretum zalozea v roce 1971.

We enjoyed the tour of the castle and its surroundings. You can see the owner's efforts to gradually reconstruct the castle.
