Izmir Coastal Road ~ İzmir Sahil Yolu
When I went to the mediator recently, I did not neglect to visit the Alsancak Coastal Road. A few months ago, I introduced some of this place to you. I love walking this coastal road. Kordan Boyu is so long that I wish I had the opportunity to come here in the early hours of the day, but I could tour it from beginning to end. Geçenlerde arabulucuya gittiğimde Alsancak Sahil Yolu'nu gezmeyi ihmal etmedim. Bunda birkaç ay öncesinde buranın bir kısmını size tanıtmıştım. Bu sahil yolunu gezmeyi çok seviyorum. Kordan Boyu o kadar uzun ki keşke günün ilk saatlerinde buraya gelme fırsatım olsa da baştan sona gezebilsem. Ancak buraya geldiğimde genelde ya yorgun oluyorum ya da günün sonuna yaklaşmış oluyorum. İşte ben, yine buradayım. Sağ tarafta ip gibi dizilmiş dümdüz binalar, sol tarafta uçsuz bucaksız deniz...
There are walking paths, bicycle paths and automobile paths here. Also, this road leads to big squares in places. If you look inside the small and large squares, you can see historical structures and tall buildings. If you look towards the sea, the beautiful sea view of Izmir will come before your eyes with a light breeze. Take a break at these squares from time to time. Inhale the scent of the sea. After some rest, continue walking. It will be good.
Burada yürüyüş yolu, bisiklet yolu, otomobil yolu bulunuyor. Ayrıca yer yer büyük meydanlara çıkıyor bu yol. Küçüklü büyüklü meydanlardan iç kısımlara bakarsanız tarihi yapıları ve yüksek binaları görebilirsiniz. Denize doğru bakarsanız hafif bir esintiyle gözlerinizin önüne gelecektir güzelim İzmir'in deniz manzarası. Arada sırada bu meydanlarda mola verin. Denizin kokusunu içinize çekin. Biraz dinlendikten sonra gezmeye devam edin. İyi gelecektir.
Zübeyde Hanım Training Ship. The Zübeyde Hanım ship takes its name from the mother of Atatürk, the founder of our republic. It would be appropriate to name such a magnificent training ship after the mother of one of the greatest Turkish leaders. I love it. While I was there, I couldn't see inside the training ship as it was not open to visitors. If you visit Izmir, you should definitely visit the inside of the Zübeyde Hanım Training Ship. Who knows what's inside? :)
Zübeyde Hanım eğitim gemisi. Zübeyde Hanım gemisi adını cumhuriyetimizin kurusu olan Atatürk'ün annesinden alıyor. Böyle ihtişamlı bir eğitim gemisine Türklerin yetiştirdiği en büyük liderlerden birinin annesinin adını vermek yerinde olmuş. Bunu sevdim. Ben oradayken eğitim gemisi ziyaretçilere açık olmadığından içini göremedim. İzmir'i ziyaret ederseniz mutlaka Zübeyde Hanım Eğitim Gemisi'nin içini ziyaret edin. Kim bilir içinde neler vardır? :)
The location of the Izmir Marriott Hotel is so beautiful that I think the residents of the hotel have a very good relationship with the view. The view from the rooms facing the sea looks magnificent. I would like to look at this view from a little higher. If you want to stay close to the center of Izmir, forget about the hotels in the interior. This hotel is for you. I guess it's way too expensive compared to the others, but I still think it's worth it.
İzmir Marriott Otel'in konumu o kadar güzel ki otel sakinlerinin manzarayla çok iyi bir ilişkisi olduğunu düşünüyorum. Denize bakan odalarında manzara muhteşem görünüyordur. Biraz yüksekten bu manzaraya bakmak isterdim. İzmir merkeze yakın bir yerde konaklamak isterseniz iç kesimdeki otelleri unutun gitsin. Bu otel tam size göre. Diğerlerine nazaran fazlasıyla pahalı olduğunu tahmin ediyorum ama yine de buna değeceğini düşünüyorum.
The location of the Izmir Governor's Office is right next to the Marriott Hotel. Building entrances face each other. I would like to work in the Izmir Governor's Office. I couldn't say no to working in a building against this beautiful view. :)
İzmir Valiliği binasının yeri de Marriott Oteli'nin hemen yanında bulunuyor. Bina girişleri birbirine bakıyor. İzmir Valiliği'nde çalışmak isterdim doğrusu. Bu güzel manzaraya karşı bir binada çalışmaya hayır diyemezdim. :)
Then I walked a little inland. The tramway pulled me in a bit. I love trams. It adds beauty to all the bad images in the city. Then, after a little progress, I came across the Stock Exchange Palace. Borsa Palace stands out from the beach and almost everywhere with its magnificent structure. It has an unusual architecture, I am aware of it. I love such old structures because of their differences.
Sonra biraz iç kesimlere doğru yürüdüm. Tramvay yolu beni biraz içine çekti. Tramvayları çok seviyorum. Şehrin içinde bütün kötü görüntülere bir güzellik katıyor. Sonra biraz ilerledikten sonra Borsa Sarayı ile karşılaştım. Borsa Sarayı, ihtişamlı yapısıyla sahilden ve hemen her yerden göze çarpıyor. Alışılagelmişin dışında bir mimarisi var, bunu farkındayım. Böyle eski yapıları bu farklılıklarından dolayı seviyorum.
Then I went back to the coastal road. Konak Pier shopping center is located here. Konak Pier is built on the filled sea, although there are not many shops inside, there are shops for you to shop, a movie theater to watch movies and restaurants to eat.
Sonra yine sahil yoluna çıktım. Burada Konak Pier alışveriş merkezi bulunuyor. Konak Pier, doldurulmuş denizin üzerine kurulu, içinde çok fazla dükkan olmasa da alışveriş yapmanız için dükkanlar, film izlemeniz için sinema salonu ve yemek için restoranlar bulunuyor.
Ah! They demolished the building of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which I explained in my post a few months ago and stated that I wanted to work there. Like most buildings, the municipality building was damaged in the Izmir earthquake, which occurred severely in 2020 and caused great losses. Despite this damage, the municipality still continued its work. Then they would have realized that it was dangerous to work there, so they demolished the building. I loved this building. There was a Clock Tower next to it and a sea view in front of it. Good health.
Ah! Birkaç ay önceki gönderimde anlattığım ve orada çalışmak istediğimi belirttiğim İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi'nin binasını yıkmışlar. 2020 yılında şiddetli bir şekilde meydana gelen ve büyük kayıplara neden olan İzmir depreminde çoğu bina gibi belediye binası da hasar görmüştü. Bu hasara rağmen belediye yine de çalışmalarını sürdürüyordu. Sonra orada çalışmanın tehlikeli olduğunu anlamış olacaklar ki binayı yıktılar. Bu binayı seviyordum. Yanında Saat Kulesi ve karşısında deniz manzarası vardı. Sağlık olsun.
Konak Square was crowded as usual. Trams, subways and other public transportation vehicles constantly transport people to Konak Square. If Konak is the heart of İzmir, I can say that trams are veins and the people they carry are white blood cells. When I saw the tram, I remembered that I had to go home. I started to make my way to the metro stop.
Konak Meydanı her zamanki gibi kalabalıktı. Tramvay, metro ve diğer toplu taşıma araçları Konak Meydanı'na sürekli insan taşıyor. Konak İzmir'in kalbiyse tramvaylar damar, taşıdıkları da akyuvarlar diyebilirim. Tramvayı görünce eve gitmem gerektiğini anımsadım. Metro durağına doğru yol almaya başladım.
Here it comes. I took the Izmir Metro at the Konak metro stop. I will transfer at Hilal transfer station. At the Hilal stop, I will get on Izban and reach my house without a stop.
İşte geliyor. Konak metro durağında İzmir Metro'ya bindim. Hilal aktarma istasyonunda aktarma yapacağım. Hilal durağında İzban'a binip aktarmasız evime ulaşmış olacağım.
I love the crescent transfer station. It looks like the intersection of almost all railways. There are a lot of railroads on the inbound and outbound sides. It also hosts a four-way railway junction in the North - South and East - West directions. After this, I have a long way to go. I'm home in a few hours.
Hilal aktarma istasyonunu seviyorum. Neredeyse bütün demiryollarının kesişme meydanı gibi duruyor. Geliş gidiş taraflarında bir sürü demiryolu var. Kuzey - Güney ve Doğu - Batı yönlerinde dörtlü demiryolu kavşağına da ev sahipliği yapıyor. Bunda sonra yolum uzun. Birkaç saat sonra evdeyim.
